GirtheAlienGoldfish I was amazed the first time I went to a museum as a child and saw how huge moose are and these deers were even bigger, so know I would be.. Wow!

@bigdickpornsuperstar -You are trying to justify your inaccurate statement in your first comment, knowing you did an error, because you never said "modern birds" in your first comment, you said there were "no birds"....

@bigdickpornsuperstar -Bats are believed to have evolved about 50 million years ago, while birds are believe to have evolved around 130 million years ago, so they were birds before bats....

@maxcklein -It's funny that you mention this, because I have a personal strong belief that us humans and all animals have an unconscious intelligence of evolution in our bodies, that adapts through what we experience in our environment....

Just about all animals pretty much are omnivores, just in different percentages of there food consumption... Cats and dogs eat small amount of leaves and grasses in the yard or when we walk them, even polar bears eat plants when the temperature is warmer.. Giraffes and many others plant-eating animals eat insects and small lizards along with the vegetation.. Hippopotamus should be classified as omnivores, because there's lots of evidence that they eat meat quite regularly...

My understanding is that not all of us have genital herpes (hvs2), since it's transmitted sexually... Ain't it? And it cause horrible infections, unlike hvs1, lips, mouth, throat and even anal..

Shane Berry -What! I don't have any idea where to put a comma? Also, the Siberian tiger that you're thinking of was a seriously obese captive tiger, tigers in the wild max out at about 700 lbs...

@marioandloveyaplushmasters3374 -Gigantopithecus was probably no stronger than the largest of today's brown bears, so your comment is just ridiculous, you want to make Gigantopithecus sound like the Incredible Hulk, when they probably got preyed upon by tigers...

Enderman_of_D00M Yeah and some of the animals that are considered sabertooth didn't even have longer teeth than some animals alive today that are not considered sabertooth, like for example, the canines of a gorgonops was no longer than a modern-day largest tigers, yet it was much bigger than today's tigers and considered a sabertooth...

@erikjarandson5458 -Well, they were estimated to be at a slightly lower weight than Kodiak bears and some scientist believe it was even smaller, around the size of the largest gorillas and if they were as big as some people believe, only the adult males would be safe from the largest of predators...

@napatora -Lots of predators consume bones and not just hyenas, predators like jaguars and tigers, which have the bite strength to crunch through bones and eat them and there's many more other predators that consume bones...

I would like to see a video that explain why Aborigines look so different then other people, like how they got the skin color of Africans and other dark skinned people, like Indians from India and others of southeast Asia, but yet looks so different...

@DaDunge -I don't think any hyenas existed in the area Gigantopithecus existed and yes, size would matter in being able to take one of them down... Also I do know tigers lose cubs to other predators, but they're far more likely to lose their cubs to other tigers...

@Ekphrasys -Adult females and youngs would had still been vulnerable to predation by tigers, adult males would had been pretty much safe from attack.. It would be just like in Russia now a day, where adult female brown bears and youngs get kill by tigers, but the adult males don't....

@Ekphrasys -Nah, do your research, Gigantopithecus is most closely related to orangutans.... Male orangutans are or almost twice as heavy as females and it seems to be the same with Gigantopithecus.. Also, the same with gorillas, females are much smaller, female gorillas in case you didn't know fall prey to leopards that are around 100 to 190 lbs...

@Kaefer1973 -Nah, mooses are proportionately more long legged than the Irish elks, and slightly lighter in weight on average.... While I don't know which other species you're talking about, because as far as I know these are the 2 largest deer species ever...

@Kaefer1973 -I will look up information on that mooses species that is extinct, but the largest subspecies of mooses, alive today is from Russia, not Alaska...

@Kaefer1973 -My goodness! The internet is a mess of misleading information nowadays, with the fact that I just looked up some information about the largest deer species... And now it has the Alaskan mooses as the largest ones now.. While before it had the Chukotka Russian mooses as the largest, at up to 1,900 lbs, while I seen videos which indicate that they probably are the largest... Now, it also has the Irish elks as one of the largest deers ever, and not the largest, with the weight estimate being up to 1,540 lbs.... That would make them smaller than today's Alaskan mooses, at up to 1,800 lbs, while it has the Libralces gallicus (French moose), as the largest deer species ever, at up to 3,240 lbs..

@Kaefer1973 -Doing this research, I just found out that Yellowstone mooses are roughly around the same weight as the Elks there, around 500 to 700 plus lbs..
