Of course the tension will not subside. Putin is used to the fact that the United States under Trump crawled in front of Putin on their knees, betraying and selling everything and everyone in Ukraine to Putin. Putin is used to the fact that the United States, having lost all honor, conscience and self-respect, dealt with everyone who is Putin's enemies. The United States, through a completely corrupt legal system, cracked down on all of Putin's enemies on Trump's personal orders. The United States under Trump has sunk to a moral bottom that no country in the world has ever sunk to. And now, suddenly, the United States has ceased to obey Putin and carry out all his orders. Of course, Putin is not happy and very angry.
