  2. I googled it. Its the 4th tallest free standing structure in Europe. Apparently this is the third tower at the site and the 2nd one collapsed.  This one was built in 1971 so its been up a fair while.

  4. +Ringway Manchester I watched the 1970's video on its construction.   Blokes up there with no hard hats or gloves piling concrete into a mould to form the walls before having to cut down the inner platform and had winch it up.  But what a job they did.
