  2.  @matenzo  I'm not worried about the Greek state as we will hire one of the best lawyers in Greece. I'm worried about the population, how people react. Governments come and go, the only thing that's forever is the people.

  4.  @CIutchX  thank you for your answer. Now I'll explain why I've asked. My fiance is a 3rd party national, I'm European. We've been in holiday in Greece and fell in love with the country and 'most of the people'. We looked into Golden visa for him as I'm EU national so I can live in Greece without to many bureaucratic hurdles. I think we'll do the move next year. What do you think? Do we have high chances to get the stick because he's not European?

  5.  @CIutchX  we will hire a Greek language teacher for both of us and we intend to open a business so our lack of knowledge of Greek language won't be the impediment to get a job as we will be the "hiring manager". Anyway we have enough financial security to not need a job but we want to do something to not die of boredom.

We thought about all those aspects and religion is not a problem as I'm an atheist and he's "in process to become one" 😂 We will stick out like a sore thumb, I know that, at least until we will learn the language and we damn well intended to do it as after 7 years of paying taxes in Greece he will have the right to apply for citizenship and the language is MANDATORY Getting a job won't be our problem as we intend to invest and be our own bosses and pay Greek taxes, although we know how high those are.
