@benvandam369 statistics show that over 80% from the asylum applications processed are accepted at European level so, yeah... Like it or not, 80+% of these people are entitled to refugee status under Geneva Convention and it's attached Protocol

@Gregoris888 I've listened the video twice ... They say nothing about Pakistan or Bangladesh. Btw, 1/3 of Pakistan is under waters because of climate change... Climate change migrations will start, about 1 billion people will be affected... You think you will escape those migration waves? Nope, you won't,and nobody on this planet will be protected. @Neil-Aspinall statistics at European level show that over 80% from the applications for refugee status are accepted. The less than 20% not accepted by the European governments are deported. If anything you should ask your government to fast forward the applications to deport the undesirable.

@Neil-Aspinall public services are over capacity because your government (and not only) run them down to have a reason to privatise them ( Murican style)... And I hope you'll live long enough to see that day, to need help and to suffer because you deserve it! Nobody will ever ask for asylum in a dictatorship, those people run from dictatorships and oppression. I lived in the Middle East. It's just a mirage, a giant outdoors prison

@chrisa5631 I suppose you have some evidence for the passport over bord... 99.9% of these poor bastards never had a passport but whatever floats your boat. Climate change migrations are coming, you might be one of those forced to just pick up a bag and go wherever you can live... I hope every country will close their borders in your face.

@chrisa5631 why should I feed them, muppet? They should be processed as fast as possible according to procedures and integrated and allowed to work to provide for themselves. Nobody needs to feed them if they would be allowed to have a normal life in accordance with our laws

According to the law governments are free to deport the people that don't receive the refugee status... Why keeping them 5+ years in the system? @Neil-Aspinall I know where your "relatives" are...the failing empire trying to emigrate to the ex-colony so I suppose you (and your relatives) are still pining for the 'good ol days' when you could just invade any country and take whatever you wanted... Right? Right???? Yes... Authoritarian regimes, being them ideological (fascism, communism, libertarian) or religious (Islamist, cristo-fascist) are all prisons for the majority of the population... Nobody want to be there, they are forced by their rulers to be there and by the lack of economic power to escape the regimes. Talking about the health systems of Europe (most of them) I compare them with a bucket. If you keep taking the water out of them, being with a teaspoon or a 1litre mug without to replenish the water in it, eventually you'll have just empty buckets sooner (1litre mug) or later (teaspoon). Enjoy your 12 years old bucket and soon to be Murican style bucket!

Yeah, you being an ex colonial master with a language spoken all over the world in countries you used and abused might backfire! UK was a colonial power, half the world has as second language thought in school English... If I would be on the run I would choose a country with a language that I speak. Germany was a colonial power, parts of the world (not many) still learn German language in school and have relatives in Germany Sweden accepted refugees since the 70's... Having a relative there makes some of the refugees to try to get there But the numbers you are crying for in Europe are minuscule! A simple Google search (I suppose you are allergic to Google as I see you refuse to use it) would show you that only 1 (ONE) European country is in top 10 recipients of refugees Turkey — 3,696,831 Jordan — 3,027,729 Uganda — 1,475,311 Pakistan — 1,438,523 Lebanon — 1,338,197 Germany — 1,235,160 Sudan — 1,068,339 Bangladesh — 889,775 Iran — 800,025 Ethiopia — 782,896 So stop crying! And please eff off... It's Saturday, I have better things to do than teaching you to use Google.

@Neil-Aspinall in my house live 3 Ukrainian families refugees from Mariupol as the Ukrainian border is just 100 km away... I had to move with my father for the first time since I was 18 yo and that's really really uncomfortable for me. Any more questions? What's my "bleeding heart" has to do with people running from war, famine and oppression? I was a refugee, I know what that means, running from an oppressive regime is absolute normality.

Italy had a deal with France for 3500 people to be taken by France... The Italian government just 💩 the bed for 10% of that number, that deal is dead. I have no idea for what you congratulate them

@chrisa5631 that's why only feeding people to not die of starvation is not enough. Integration must happen and governments should do their job !!!!! These people are coming from countries that never invested in them 2 cents. Their education in most cases is way below European levels, even their socialization level is way below... Just bringing them to safety is NOT ENOUGH!

@lapun47 I don't want to let everyone in. Quality control how you call it is happening although the criteria is not the one that you want or the one that I want. Why you think the refugee status takes a minimum of 2 years to a maximum of 5 years???
