Aren't you confusing an orderly queue inside a sweatshop with international procurement here 🙄. It doesn't really matter who ordered first when you're dealing with contracts with fixed delivery schedules.
11
Absolutely! Paying for a product and expecting to get what they paid for...is soooo like Nazis... Just out of curiosity, is stupidity painful? Are you crying out in agony all the time or just some time?
6
@bostonblackie9503 he's saying that the product which should go to EU countries from the 2 plants in UK is not delivered as per contract.
5
Who are you Michael Fiedler to apologize in my name?
4
Sympathy???? You can keep that! We want the product we already paid for back in August
4
@proselytizingorthodoxpente8304 steal??? We already paid for those vaccines 5 months ago. How we are stealing something we already paid?
4
@johnbinnie5697 so we should check the queues at Dover for our missing millions of AZ doses we already paid?
3
@johnbinnie5697 your first few mln doses came from EU located factories. If those are failing as you and AZ CEO said how come the same factories are able to export?
3
@johnbinnie5697 because if those plants work for other exports but refuse to deliver to the EU contract, well, that's a breach of contract.
3
Clause 13.1.e They've represented there are no conflicting arrangements with 3rd parties that could impede fulfilment of this contract...and it seems there are, IF UK's contract give access 100% to the listed facilities untill completion of their contract.
3
@dsell1959 the UK government saw only to fill up the pockets of their donors this whole pandemic. AZ is making some fat profits selling at higher prices under the cover of "sensitive commercial information" hoping nobody will open its mouth. Audits are happening as we speak...this won't be swept under a carpet.
3
@karlonajjar1514 the EU did not attempt to discredit the effectiveness of the vaccine...1 newspaper in EU is not the EU, on that logic the torygraph in UK is the UK...see? A logical fallacy! UK is restricting the supply from its 2 plants listed in EU's contract ...that's fine! EU is restricting the supply from its plants...that's Nazi's like Hypocrisy bothers me.
3
The blanked out parts were decided by AZ as "sensitive commercial information"
3
@johnbinnie5697 nope! It's not unintentional! Check your gov site
2
UK can give NI some of those vaccines they are hoarding...after all UK bis screaming all the time that NI is part of UK
2
Jo Sm I didn't see the full version but to be honest if EU did indeed released it they are great! No contract on public funds should EVER be secret! And when dealing with a company which took the money upfront but refuse to deliver ...well, that's fair play in my book.
2
@karlonajjar1514 are you suggesting that EU should wait untill AZ it's making its fat profits and then accept a late delivery? Nice! What else?
2
@johnbinnie5697 no need for oversight of other contracts. We see really well the custom declarations AZ is using to export the production of it's plants in EU
1
That happened long ago
1
@ruxiist great! If Pfizer must obey contracts so should AZ
1
Seriously???? Can you give me a source? Thanks!
1
@crustytoes5451 I suppose is less than what they promised by end-March but more than what they wanted to deliver after the second cut in January
1
It's not about you
1
@annoyingbstard9407 no moron. We just want what we paid for
1
What's that got to do with you? EU has a contractual issue with AstraZeneca. Are you AZ spokesperson?
1
UK approved the AZ vaccine on 30 of December on emergency procedures.
1
@SNOWDONTRYFAN well also EU invested about 2 billion in 6 "back in 2020"...3 approved...2 delivering...1 trying a trick
1
@SNOWDONTRYFAN money back with interest and penalties. Companies which don't fulfill their contracts end up bankrupt most of the time.
1
@SNOWDONTRYFAN do you know what means to own a patent? Yeah...AZ is and will make profit from this
1
@dsell1959 I wish I'm wrong! I soooo wish I'm wrong...but this stinks!
1
@yvonnewandera516 seriously???? I don't speak French but I'll look for a translation of Macron's opinion. What's that has to do with delivering on a contract???? If you didn't knew there are loads of people under 65 in EU which want their vaccines, me being one of those under 65. The product for which we paid is OURS and we can do whatever we want with it...
1
@trevordante8787 1. AZ listed in the contract with EU 4 plants which should deliver vaccines. 2 in UK, 2 in EU 2. UK's plants are not delivering 3. EU's plants are exporting 4. None of them delivering the numbers agreed with EU 5. We already paid for this product 5 months ago and if AZ is not delivering on its contract we will make them.
1
@trevordante8787 AZ's has production issues? And still able to export? Strange... isn't it? EU should take the whole hit for AZ's "production issues"?
