  1.  @jamesphilip6737  I know your defense industry makes money, I know. Humans made money on wars since they discovered how to do spears and swords and arrows, that's nothing new under this sun. Some of those money your MIC does goes in salaries, and R& D, some(too little) goes in taxes. If your MIC would disappear tomorrow tens of thousands of direct jobs would disappear and start a domino effect for the jobs depending on those wages. My point, although I despise your MIC I see it as a necessary evil. The taxpayers of America (I suppose you are talking about normal people, not multi billionaires) were stuffed by multiple American governments. I pity sometimes the normal American taxpayer but then I remember they voted multiple times for politicians that sold their skin and their future to the ultra rich donors. You are complaining for 16 billions, that is not even close to the tax breaks elon musk or warren buffet or michael bloomberg or jeff bezos got in the last 2 years. I'm sure you will tell me those 16 billions should be used to solve the homelessness problem of American citizens.  Your budgets since 1980's when Reagan completely sold you out to the rich were ( in billion dollars ) 1980's - 6142.6 1990's - 13,524.4 2000's - 21,289.3 2010's - 29,340.2 Total USA budget (in billion dollars) 70,296.5 If any of your governments would have been interested to put an end to homelessness in America they could have done it loooooooong ago. They won't no matter how much money they will have in budget ! They never will! The American homelessness is a tool of control for the rest of the population... "See what will happen to you if you refuse to work for subsistence wage. We will take the subsistence too, and we will completely destroy your life".

The American politicians sold their souls for power and sold their people to the higher donors. Tax cuts to the ultra rich for decades, allowing the ultra rich to exploit the population for 💩 salaries made the population poorer and the rich richer

  18. If McCarthy gain power with his looney you won't be able to control what policies he will implement. Giving tools to lunatics will only help them to beat you down with those tools... But then again, I'm European! We knew since 2016 that we can't count much on USA, especially on the new brand of authoritarian inward looking republican USA, when / if is coming back in power. As someone who lived under a horrible authoritarian regime (Ceausescu) I warn you! The inward looking of authoritarians is not there to help the population, it's there to keep the population in check. Consider yourself warned.
