@maxbounce Crimean peninsula was never Russian before 18th of May 1944 when 2 MILLION Crimean Tatars (the majority of the population) were forcefully deported and killed in Siberia and their homes, lands, properties were given to Russian population brought there to make Crimea "Russian"
