@23poiuz Europe slept for 3 decades a sweet sleep. Most of the European armies are in tatters. Sending Europeans there in an obvious trap would only destroy our little defense.

@captainnowitzki1062 NATO because in that count is the USA army. Look what European armies have... Russia has 1800 tanks France has about 300, Germany has a broom with a short stick, Romania has 2 frying pans ... We "invest" close to nothing in the last 3 decades in our armies

@23poiuz I'm not talking about corruption...I'm talking about "proper" contracts. Look at the American spending on defense. Just pick a year in your head and then Google the budget. Take only the defense part of it and see the billions going to arm dealers. That's one of the reasons internal spending on infrastructure in USA is pitiful. Huge swates of money, amounts bigger than most European countries full GDP's are going every year in arms

@23poiuz I love love love your optimism. I needed it tonight. My father has his house 60 km from a NATO base in Romania and since yesterday he's hosting 3 halfs of different Ukrainian families. Let me tell you something... If Ukraine falls Putin won't stop and I doubt Europe has enough time at its disposal to do what didn't do for 30 years

@23poiuz 73 BN euros were spent mostly "to keep the lights on in the barracks and salaries paid". I would love for EU to get it's 💩 together but if that will mean unanimity then count Hungary out... Orban will not upset his best friend and personal sponsor

@23poiuz "dude"??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm a "broad" that had it's family decimated by Russian tanks on Romanian streets in 1944 Lessons about the Russian "mercy" were taught in my family by its very few survivors.
