And neither NATO or EU are forcing Ukraine to do anything. Neither EU or NATO made the Ukrainian Constitution. It's enshrined in their core law that they want to become members of EU and NATO.

I know exactly what's going on. The thing is that the commanding officers are not on the front with the soldiers. They get their orders by radio or phone. The commanding officers know very well what would happen to them if they would be around their own soldiers

  19.  @nzs316  the artillery in the back is "enforcing". If the soldiers don't move forward the artillery "kindly" remind them that they need to move! Multiple times the cannon fodder in the front got buried by their own artillery if they refused to move.

  21.  @nzs316  there are Ukrainian channels that give instructions in Russian language for safe surrender to Ukrainian army. If they bring with them military kit they are also rewarded with some money. But not everyone have enough courage or brain. And if your country brainwashed you for 20 years that Ukrainians are the devil then many don't even consider surrendering. It's complicated!
