Russian submarines were observed in the vicinity of the transatlantic internet cables exercising how to damage/cut them at the deepest and hardest to access locations to halt the connection between Europe and US. Those undersea cables were cut multiple times in the last 5 years but in more accessible areas... - the cable between Svalbard and mainland Norway - the undersea cable near Faroe and Shetland Islands damaged and in the same time the undersea cables in Mediterranean completely cut - the Norwegian Undersea Surveillance Network had it's cables mysteriously cut - when they invaded Crimea they damaged the communication telecom cables that connected Crimea with mainland Ukraine - at least 3 underwater fiber optic cables were damaged in south of France in one go This is happening for quite some time... And China took a page from the Russian playbook and is doing the same thing in south Asia and Pacific.

@dudemantype I am realistic. I think American media is 99% interested in America's views and news and usually don't report much of what's happening anywhere else. If the Ukrainian war would have not happened I'm sure 99% of Americans could not pinpoint it on a map... Hell I think 99% of Americans can't pinpoint Europe on a map...
