"Do you really believe russia uses chips from washmachines to produce weapons?" probably , I mean not for like the most mission critical stuff but they could reuse stuff most other stuff they use is just gotten off of the black market , that's what Iran does ,also there are occasions where the missiles miss by like 100+ metres so that shows some stuff

@ alright I am no einstein but I do have a bacholar in Computer Science , there are a ton microchips used in all sorts of places , hell the even some Nasa use off the shelf stuff from time to time

@borincod I never said they used every last microchip , it's not really a major redesign for a lot of less important components Microchip industry in Russia has been dead since the 80ies , not to mention these missiles have to be made quickly , it's not impossible that they decided to solder off some stuff instead of halting production while waiting for new shipments to arrive
