  9.  @DarkoFitCoach  1. there are plenty of fortified places in Ukraine , Avdiivka being just 1 of them. Vuhledar Knostantinivka , New York are all quite fortified too 2. what railway access ? Russia dropped 1500 kg bombs on the city for a week straight ,what do you think happened to the railway ? The heights point is also kind of irrelevant since it isn't that much higher than the land following it. 3. Ukraine fought with like 6k men at its peak , Russia used like 50k here. 4. Russia lost a documented 1048 Vehicles to take Avdiivka (source: warspotting , although this counting from February 2022, if we change the count from October 2023 then it's only 621 Vehicles , to put this into perspective the entire Ukrainian counteroffensive lost 380 vehicles) The loss isn't great but neither is it terrible , they have other defensive lines and managed to inflict insane losses on Russia.
