A war with nato would involve a technologicaly advanced air force and a lot more heavy equipment like himars mlrs . Currently Russia has resorted to trying to drown the enemie in shelling . Against Ukraine which doesn't have a great air force that would work but against nato ? Himars has been targeting russian depos with reasonable success , imagine what a squadron of f-35s would do .

@davidgmillsatty1900 a) neither has Russia destroyed a 40 km convoy . B) you don't send your best troops on a deception mission

@hordynighthawk325 And airforces are constantly improving no army is purely an airforce but getting air superiority wins wars . Russian artillery tactics wouldn't work against the west .

@davidgmillsatty1900 a) so which big arrow are you talking about B) deception , fake movement . An actual feint would be sending units to the north but not actually attacking to keep the Ukrainian army busy without taking casualties. Also you don't use your best units . Which feint in history has been like the Kiev "feint"

Intialy russian support and leadership (credit were credit is due girkin seems competent) . In 2014 Ukrainian army was fighting basically armoured battalions with light infantry . Currently is the russian artillery . DPR and LPR are often under equiped . Without russian backing they would've been destroyed in 2014 . Almost were in the begining.

@bigboi7817 when was the last time AA actually managed to stop a western style airforce ? Israel bombed Syria which had Russia AA, azerbaijan did the same to Armenia , Iraq had top of the line AA but didn't manage to stop Israeli air strikes Neither is a modern air force something to scoff at . @Trompicavalas majority of the voter base for zelensky was from the east . Majority of the locals in those provines were pro Ukrainian . Only pro russians stayed in the regions . For instance out of 95k people in lisichanask only 15k stayed

@bigboi7817 quite long . I mean if you're purely being defensive eventually the enemie will hit you but if you have your own ways of responding making the enemie waste ammo and increasing your chances of survival is a good tactic
