USA gave Afghanistan tons upon tons of weapons to defend themselves from the Taliban, The Afghan army didn't even fire a single shot at the Taliban when they entered Kabul

In Helmand province in Afghanistan during 2021 there were no nato troops , the ana outnumbered the Taliban 3 to 1 , the us had fought for them for 20 years ,had trained them , had equiped them with helicopters , guns , rockets , missiles and what not . When the Taliban undertook its offensive within a few days the entire province had fallen , in Herat the Afghan national army surrendered despite being stronger than the Taliban .
