  1.  @joecasey7415  late delivery fees. Since Russia wasn't delivering as much as was required by the contracts , the EU would've had ground to request late delivery fees .those fees would only be voided if it became impossible to deliver the amounts as per the contracts

France could over take Russia very quickly if push came to shove also French industry over all is much stronger than Russia's industry , but most of it is used in the civilian sector which could be turned to war production if the need arises . In 2023 France made 1.3 Million cars while Russia mad 700k, France can also make a lot of machinery for production which Russia has to import

Whole Russia does produce more stuff in terms of military , that's only because they're at war and most of Russia's production isn't new equipment but refurbishing old soviet equipment . Also , France focuses on quality more And France has a greater potential than Russia. Imagine if you saw one guy giving it his all while sprinting and the other guy jogging half asleep and still in the race , who's faster ? It's not as drastic as Russians like to make it out to be , with the current pace of Russian advancement it will take them 4 decades to win
