@sashap5747 in 2023 Russia took net 140 sq km , this year so far they've taken 110 sq km Ukraine is about 600k square kilometres The area Which Russia has to take over in order to achieve its stated goal is 20k Sq km (i don't remember the exact number)

@classicalmechanic8914 1.Russian elections 2. Even if truthful , Russia agreed not to intervene in internal Ukrainian affairs. Since Ukraine hadn't granted independence to those regions , Russia only had the right stay out and let Ukraine do whatever it wanted
