@waynefoster887 why not ? Don't you smile every time a Russian HQ is destroyed ?
1
Citation needed
1
@operator9858 as if you don't do everything in your power to sabotage the west . Our media was correct about the Moskva sinking , about the victory in the first gulf war , about the victory of Croatia against Serbia. USA hasn't lost a significant battle since Korea because it just has so much firepower and precision, USA only loses wars because people like you demand a pull out or sabotage aid .
1
@tickysiasiluka68 neither does Russia tell us their losses
1
@tickysiasiluka68 which city has it captured ?
1
@AAAAAA-tj1nq citation needed Russia lost more in Bakhmut though
1
@AAAAAA-tj1nq Bakhmut is like 46 sq km , ok , taking it wasn't that large of an achievement
1
@AAAAAA-tj1nq it's mostly positional battles Yeah and Russian are taking heavy losses for advances measured in metres
1
@AAAAAA-tj1nq avdiivka isn't really encircled, Ukrainians have no major issues moving in or out Ukrainians still control robotyne , Russia took nearly as heavy losses in the 2 months of the avdiivka assault as Ukraine did in the entire counter offensive
1
@AAAAAA-tj1nq Ukraine has multiple defensive lines too
1
@AAAAAA-tj1nq they lost 50% on RT , stop watching Kremlin propaganda
1
@operator9858 depends but since the west mostly relies on the air force USA has a lot more guided bombs and cruise missiles
1
@teddykayy depends on what and how much the west gives if they can get enough than it would be possible
1
The 16 leopards Russia destroyed combined would cost something like 130 Million USD . The 2000 Tanks visually confirmed to have been destroyed by Ukraine would cost around 8 Billion dollars
1
how did he buy a G wagon using storm shadow missiles ?
1
why not ? do you think Russian tanks are better than western tanks >
1
@attilakiss5400 have they ? there are many battles which Ukraine won , Russia lost more equipment in Avdiivka than Ukraine did in the entire counteroffensive , clearly our weapons perform better. why cannot Russia be defeated ? are their troops bulletproof ? what great advantage do they have that it's impossible to overcome it ?
1
@attilakiss5400 Ukrainian counteroffensive took like 500 sq km back and lost 380 pieces of equipment (lostarmour estimate), while Russia on the other in Avdiivka lost 542 (warspotting estimate) pieces of equipment to take over 28 sq km . Clearly their losses are far worse for far smaller gains. Why don't we go to war economy as well ? what's the big problem here ? Ukraine has many people in the army , most people get a letter in the mail and go to the draft office. Kidnapped draftees is overblown Russian propaganda.
1
@attilakiss5400 Surovikin line wasn't any walk in the park either Any citations on the stats
1
@attilakiss5400 20-40k losses ? Any proof ? Russia lost more than the west
1
Depends , those drones mostly attack from the top down where the armour is relatively thin , so they can penetrate most of the time
1
@svaneman1 an RPG hit on the top armour can penetrate and do a lot of damage and since Russians have been using a lot of their older tanks in the war they're reasonably effective
1
0.6% of your taxes went to Ukraine
1
Any citations
1
@temich1985 bakhmut was a meat grinder for Russia though , Ukraine took lighter losses there because they were defending
1
@jaxcrax9644 USA has sent like 60 Billion in terms pure military aid which is like 8% of the budget but that's just value sent . The us military can't spend a HIMARS rocket on anything else than a target and send a HIMARS missile from inventory isn't the same as sending Ukraine 8 mil
1
@temich1985 it was more down to western hesitation which allowed Russia the time to build an extensive defence network than Bakhmut
1
@evobsm2328 the first line was breached though , problem is mostly the mines , there are very limited axis of attacks since the Russians threw their mines around like sweets
1
@evobsm2328 monte cassino took way too long too but still got through. It's far more dangerous to treat negotiation as a real possibility than to treat an Ukrainian victory as a necessity the west will bear any cost for . they did lose equipment and men in the counter offensive but Ukraine still has a lot of teeth , Russia must understand that the west can ensure a Russian defeat in this war and that the west has the will for it . Otherwise they'll keep fighting and if there is a frozen conflict they'll just regroup and attack again in a few years and we'd be back at square 1
1
Has he ?
1
@JT-Pilli why not ? Harm has been quite effective in Ukraine so far and that's been with Jerry rigged MIGs, f-16 which would be compatible with much more western missiles and weapons would devastate Russia
1
Why can't they ?
1
@Blau_Max end of the rope before a new speaker gets elected . USA hasn't ran out of money
1
@ericp1139 of which like 27 trillion is the money USA owes to itself because the debt ceiling is weird
1
@anderseckstrand7033 money printing isn't really that big of an issue currently, it's more down to post COVID economy and gas shenanigans
1
@ericp1139 ATACMS, lots and lots of artillery, f-16 ,f-18 , cram , meteor and other stuff ? You say this as if Ukraine has zero chance against Russia and this Russia's desert Strom
1
@ericp1139 correct
1
Just because America does something doesn't mean its ok for russia to do it
1
What do they use ? They've got nothing like this The problem is Russian stuff is worse
1
@anoopnair6927 source ?
1
@operator9858 yeah we all saw the Russians roll over avdiivka
1
@operator9858 he didn't. You saw that on RT and out of context and immediately believed because it confirmed your biases . In actuality he was speaking about the funding within context of the speaker . He was saying that they were at the end of the rope until Congress approves more funding . USA can keep this up for centuries. 90k casualties on RT . 60k men are even involved in the counter offensive
1
@operator9858 and you only watched a segment .
1
@operator9858 CNN isn't state media . They cover whatever will get clicks, so even then they'll put out a dramatised piece and make a mountain out of a molehill just to get attention
1
@operator9858 in the context of the speaker . He didn't say "Ukraine lost we are pulling out" he said "we don't have a speaker so it's kinda hard to pass bills for funding Ukraine and we can only do shenanigans to support them"
1
@operator9858 of stuff the USA doesn't really use like shells , USA only used 60k shells in Iraq . Still USA has pretty much doubled production and with South Korea and Australia helping out and the rest of NATO Ukraine's fire rate has gone up
1
@operator9858 it has been keeping Ukraine in the fight. We don't have good numbers for the Russian production rate , if we go by firms data though it's evident that the fire rate has been decreasing. If we keep this up and with Europe in the deal sooner or later the gap between Ukraine and Russia will close .
1
@operator9858 I don't see how going to NK is gonna help with intimidating South Korea or Japan . It's probably down them just wanting more rather than a real shortage but not a good sign
1
@operator9858 we can build interceptors faster than Russia can build missiles . The spaags currently are sufficient to deal with the drones , a few do get through but shaheds have a 50kg war head which doesn't do as much damage as cruise missile . Generally speaking the cost of stopping the Russians salvos and then repairing the damage is similar to the cost of launching the salvo . The west and Russia often calculate costs differently , Russia calculates the pure build cost while the west often bundles the deal so the cost per unit of the system often includes the cost of building the production facility , the cost of design and development and the per unit build cost , something like the f-35 by western calculations costs 120 Million but building one only costs 60-70 Million. There is switchblade 600 but only 10 of those were sent to Ukraine so we have like 2 confirmed strikes . But there is potential there if they can deal with the jamming problem. Russia does make cheap drones but lots of these drones are wasted on decoys or miss are lost in accidents or hit and don't penetrate (lancet has a weaker war head than the javelin ) while lancet stings it's not a godsend for Russia either . USA also has decently performing stuff that Russia doesn't have an equivalent for like javelin (korent isn't fire and forget) , Excalibur ( krasnopol is laser guided so that makes a difference) which are decently cheap compared to the stuff they take out . You cannot just make an fpv core out of thing air and since Ukraine started earlier they have more trained drone operators .
1
@operator9858 north Korea isn't going to do anything with those new designs that would be really threatening . North Korea is a very poor country, even if the USA gave them the blueprints for the b-2 , aside from nukes they wouldn't pose that large of a threat
