  21.  @zeffy._440  before NATO troops started leaving Taliban didn't hold any major cities or anything of any importanece , the peace agreement was supposed be a compromise between Afghan government and Taliban but it didn't end well. The coalition inflicted huge casualty rates in pretty much every significant engagement . Afghan army was notoriously corrupt and incompetent and shouldn't have been trusted with doing its duty
