I doubt Russia could pull that off , in Avdiivka they lost more than the entire Ukrainian counter offensive
5
@sullathehutt7720 I'm not a country
3
@ЮрийОрлов-ш9ц 1. Ukraine hasn't lowered it's conscription age to 18 yet , so they still have men 2. in the past month Russia lost 429 vehicles to take 200 sq km . To take all land currently claimed by Russia they would need to take an area of 24593 sq km , or a the current rate lost 49k vehicles
3
@Red-Check-Mark "And Ukraine continues to see immense losses on the frontlines in Kursk; losing their best brigades to Russian forces daily. " Ukraine's losses in Kursk are not even like half of what Russia list in Vuhledar
3
@Red-Check-Mark roughly 178 vehicles are listed on lostarmour (a pro-Russian source) and in the same amount of time Russians lost 478 vehicles in the Pokrovsk direction according to warspotting
3
@thztdwyn warspotting for Russia's losses in avdiivka , Pokrovsk raion ( total of 453 losses documented from October 2nd to today ) And lost armour for Ukrainian losses from July 1st to October 2nd , 371 vehicles lost but only (keep in my mind this includes the entire frontline since lostarmours filtering sucks )
2
@1whywouldi then you guys should've left Ukraine alone . Don't give them a reason to join nato in the first place
2
Inflation got up to 12% , also car manufacturing and air craft manufacturing are down
2
@thztdwyn I said got up to , In 2021 Russia made 1.5 million cars Vs 2022 600k cars , unless in 1 year they started making twice as large cars I doubt they actually grew their automotive sector.
2
@sullathehutt7720 USA made 10 Million cars , Russia made 600k , USA made 1500 planes ,Russia made 100 in 2022 Also debt isn't an issue
2
as we all know , the non-American dominated Eastern Europe from 1945 to 1989 was far more prosperous and developed than the American dominated western Europe
2
@MKai134 Considering what it takes Russia to take a small village , taking Zapaorzhia would cost them half the population of Moscow
2
Yeah dawg , if you still have an air force , you're not fighting NATO
2
@Mal101M say whatever you want about western tactics but weapons are clearly superior, Russia's 5000 pieces of artillery were equalled in strength by 800 pieces of western artillery Clearly our greater spending translated into greater quality
2
@Mal101M I reason that 7 million shells may not have been the best thing to happen to those factories
2
@Todd_Coward they do have desires for the Baltics
1
@RealWorldGames "offered" Russia broke MINSK 2 in 3 hours
1
Except Georgians , Ukrainians , Moldovans , Estonians ,etc
1
@jaredwilliams2357 I mean , I remember watching a documentary film where a Russian soldier admitted that Ukraine was right in 2014 and Russia would've done the exact same thing if not worse Ukraine in the Donbass out of 5 million people killed 2k civilians while Russia in Chechnya out 1 million people killed 80k Civilians
1
@Fridaey13txhOktober "it's getting better" 56% bankruptcy rate
1
@thztdwyn 453 vehicles lost confirmed just in Pokrovsk, you're going to have undocumented losses on top of that
1
@sullathehutt7720 what's so hard to believe? Are Russians bulletproof?
1
@Reinhard_Erlik Ok and ? legally it was still a part of Ukraine
1
@JTR253 " Expanding NATO even into regions like Bush wanted to like Georgia and Ukraine when they didn't ask for it didn't endear us to the Russians." Georgia was pro-NATO ever since 1995 you can either have Europe on your side or Russia on your side , Europe would be better
1
We are out of surplus. Also we can always just make more , we make 10 million cars and Russia makes 600k , obviously we have at least the same industrial capacity as russia if not more
1
@thztdwyn the largest Ukrainian mobilization wave was a 100k men , also citation needed
1
@thztdwyn size of the Ukrainian army
1
@armandaneshjoo we make 10 million cars
1
@teyrncousland I am not superman , I would gladly fight if Ukraine was given the proper support
1
if Russia doesn't work with the conservatives either , then would lose the war as Ukraine aid would not be a partisan issue anymore and conservatives would be much less willing to put restrictions on Ukraine
1
@nickmurkel2469 says who ? the west combined has a 20 fold economic advantage over Russia , it would be very easy for the west to make a statement of for every 1 USD Russia spends the west will spend 5 USD on defending Ukraine , imagine if per year the west gave 500 Billion USD in aid. USA has thousands of tanks in storage and thousands of aircraft , Europe and America also have a great advantage in capital.
1
@saladin3273 the west plenty strong
1
@saladin3273 24 NATO MBTs lost in this war Vs 2300 Russian MBTs
1
@saladin3273 lost armour for NATO losses Warspotting for Russian losses
1
@saladin3273 overlap as in ? If you mean captured and destroyed then it's counted for the side that lost vehicle (meaning got it destroyed)
1
@saladin3273 according to Wikipedia at the beginning of the war Ukraine had 500 t-72 tanks , war spotting records 1179 t-72 tanks so even if Ukraine lost every last t-72 Russia would've lost more Also you can tell apart the tanks based on Era
1
@thztdwyn it's still twice the inflation rate of the USA per month
1
" Russian influence in ex Soviet countries " so like USA should've stood by when Russian soldiers herded people into stadiums in Abkhazia and then gunned them down ? or should USA have stood by when Russian soldiers turned schools into rapedens in Moldova ?
1
@Dennis0824 source Russian mod
1
why not ? if Ukraine had more weapons it would fight better
1
@fkjl4717 they can . Especially with the new equipment they've gotten
1
@Red-Check-Mark the Ruble fell against the dollar and Euro
1
@revantobias8567 at the current pace Ukraine will be conquered in 2787
1
just_a_turtle_chad AHH yes Russia clapped via a gesture of good will
1
@OrroHelhammer Ukraine has gotten roughly 80 Billion USD in the past 2 years , Russia spent 170 Billion on trying to conquer Ukraine though
1
@chico9805 so that's Moskva survived and Tsokov did too and so did Rostov-on-don and Ukrainians didn't manage to kill Goryachev either with cruise missiles Russians have never had to fight a proper air force , I'm pretty sure the f-35 would tear apart the shitty 1972 radar on the s-300
1
@OrroHelhammer the budget for the armed forces of Russia in 2022 and 2023
1
@OrroHelhammer Russia's yearly budget
1
@Shik0njuul934 nope it wasn't a state cannot commit a crime whilst remaining within their own borders
1
@branilavvasic9727 "Sure they have strong economy but if they get attacked they can't defend themselves." , most European countries have decently large populations and industrial capacity , I mean if the EU spent the same amount of its own gdp as Russia does it would probably create the largest army on earth
