Ukrainians need tanks not as replacements but as additional forces , they went through a massive mobilisation and would like equipment to reduce casualties Majority of the pre war Ukrainian tank force is still there 1 to 5 advantage only at select parts of the front and only on the worst occasions. By that logic Russia is lossing 100 vehicles a day because of the bilohorivka crossing disaster

  35. Depends . Against active protection systems they're not that effective but even with era they can still take out the engine and damage the barrel which would in most fighting environments make the tank useless

Radical elements which now in eastern Europe at best have access to light guns would suddenly start getting tanks and jet fighters . Nato is a necessary force to deter russia and it's foreign policy . There is a good reason why eastern European countries joined nato . They all saw what Russia did to Moldova and Georgia in the 90s . The best way to ensure that little green men don't end up inside your borders is to make that action equivalent to declaring ww3
