@zani1106 1. Militarily in what aspect ? If su-24s are sinking your ships then you have to rethink that you're more powerful than NATO 2. The west accounts for 50% of the worlds economy , the ruble is now equal to the bobux 3. Politically, maybe . The thing is Putin being a dictator can just do whatever he wants and nobody can stop him in Russia . Whereas Biden needs to convince the Congress and the senate to get basically anything done . One the international stage though, Argentina didn't join Brics , Finland got into NATO , soon Sweden. Arms exports are down .

The problem was a lack of public support , hell Russia lost like 25k men trying to take Chechnya and no one complained but Public sentiment against Afghanistan was very high , despite USA losing only 2k men. Also vietnam for the time was better armed than Ukraine is now , hell Vietnam had soviet pilots fighting for it , it had at that time some of the best jets the soviets had including the mig-21 which at that time had been in production for only 7 years , imagine if the USA gave Ukraine f-35. Vietnam for the time was much more heavily armed than Ukraine is now. USA took nearly a million North Vietnamese soldiers , conventionally USA dominated Vietnam. Fact of the matter , Vietnam wasn't worth winning for the Americans

@felipovich1220 Russia has never fought a large modern air force, given that Ukraine has been able to kill Russian generals and destroy Russian ships , a large western air force would simply delete the Russian air defence system
