  16.  @alexp-ru  during ww1 russia was checkmated by Germany by supporting Lenin. in Finland the objective was not only to advance the line but to also establish new military bases there which didn't happen and in Afghanistan russia lost tons of equipment and lost to the Mujahedeen which they weren't able to defeat despite sinking all of their economy in the war
