Nato . Also look at what chechnya did to the russian army unsupported and now imagine nearly 40x larger war with western support . It would destroy Russias economy
92
@Chikanuk 2k dead for nato against 30 million Nearly 30k dead for Russia against 1.8 million Nukes would end the whole world . My point was that even if Russia could take over those regions insurgencies would be impoo to put down
39
@Chikanuk I am from georgia the country . Its a post soviet state . I am going to say that 99% of people I've talked to who are between the ages of 18-30 don't like the ussr one bit . These are the people who would be in fighting shape if there was to be a war
21
@Chikanuk Crimea was taken durring a situation of instability with local support Isis wasn't an incurgency for the most part . Its tactics were more related to technicals and propaganda rather than hit and run and aimbushes If Russia was to retake the former Soviet territories it would have to deal with incurgencies with massive population well over 50 million people . Now imagine that these incurgencies start suddenly getting javelin anti tank weapons and patriot missiles . Russia wouldn't be able to hold the territory . Each year thousands of Russians would fall victim to vicious guerilla warfare . Chechnya is small so it doesn't have the recourses to overcome Russia but post soviet would . I doubt any state could manage those types of things
19
@Chikanuk it would be massive Also the younger generations don't care for the Soviet Union . Not to mention an invasion will radicalise people . Belarus might sit still but what about countries which have terrible relations with Russia . Imagine your country gets invaded by forgein power . Invasions are rarely clean . There would be civilian casualties . With the modern age and the internet even once kamani massacre would be enough to demonize Russia and radicalise thousands of people .
18
@Леонид Агафонов next video how Russia lost thousands of young men in brutal western backed incurgencies and collapsed its economy

@Chikanuk https://icds.ee/en/the-2008-russia-georgia-war-five-years-later/ that the Russian side or rather the Ossetians with support from the Russian forces conducted a multitude of provocations during the summer of 2008, which led to the war. Incessant border violations and intervening in another country’s internal affairs can be very provoking, as well as continuous fire over the line of control, installing mines on the roads on the other side, and much more. https://www.ksk.edu.ee/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/ENDC_Occasional_Papers_4_final.pdf The following fact confi rms the participation of Russian artillery in the bombardment of Georgian villages before the beginning of the confl ict and the lack of neutrality on behalf of the Russian “peacekeepers”. The Russian Army Lieutenant Oleg Golovanov directed Russian artillery fi re on the Georgian villages from an observation post situated on the roof of the building of the so-called Russian “peacekeeping” battalion.90 By nightfall, the Georgian villages of Nuli and Avnevi, in the Liakhvi enclave had been completely destroyed by Russian and Ossetian artillery and mortar fi re. Russian peacekeepers had attacked georgia for years before georgia shot back Historically Georgia didn't join by its will but was forced too do as such. Between 1801 and 1917 there were what like 10 different revoults by georgians against Russia . Chechnya isn't loyal to Russia if tomorrow Russia faced a collapse chechns wouldn't help out in any way shape or form.

American bases are hosted with the original countries permission .
5
@shashankkolhe4111 I live in a post soviet state and noone here supports Russia especially the young people
4
@shashankkolhe4111 hosts who ? Source ? You guys gave shamil basyev tanks you have no ground to stand on Eastern Europe throughout history has had very great times but only when left alone . The west still supports Georgia after 30 years
4
B D why ? Be honest Russia just doesn't like the fact that it can't bully the baltics into submission like it can do with other countries
3
There was no coup in Ukraine
3
@Chikanuk Pg 17 only 33% said no tho Source is Gallup polls
3
@shashankkolhe4111 we never hosted Al Qaeda . And shamil basyev died because a mine went off in his face . It was an accident not caused by russia
3
@darth3911 and have to fight 7 chechnyas .
2
B D what nonsense ? Or is what happened to moldova in 1992 , georgia in 1992 and Ukrainie simply not agression ?
2
B D Russia commited acts of war on neutrual nations . Baltics are pretty rich . They'd find something to take .
2
@news_internationale2035 there east no coup . The transfer of power was done by the parliament was fully legal.
2
20 million ? I doubt . USA has done awfull stuff but nowhere to that scale . Not to mention Russia has done such things too . Are we forgeting hungry ?
2
@knightalexius593 what does that have to do with the fact that the Ukrainian parliament removed Yanukovych from power. Article 111 gave it the right to do so .
2
@knightalexius593 CIA operatives? Evidence? Noone was threatened into voting . The parliament and the protestors came to an agreement after negotiations mediated by diplomats. qourom was reached tho and since the 8th parliament had 17 sits absent the required votes to remove was 317 which was reached (328 votes in favour of impeachment)
2
@news_internationale2035 no it wasn't . Crimea was office acknowledged as a part of Ukraine
2
In abkhazia and Ossetia Russia literally kicked out all the georgians there .
2
Russia applied to nato voiding that agreement Also what would be so terrible if eastern European countries joined nato ?
2
@MrTech-jg6wt the same could be said for the states that want to join nato . When the country next to has occupied many times throughout its history you'll make sure to join an alliance that will defend you
2
@Chikanuk in 2008 in georgia only 5 days . Noone had any sort of time to react not to mention georgians had incurgencies within abkhazia and so for a period of time . Also Ukrainian army has lots of Georgian volunteers. If Russia had taken georgia that would've been a second chechnya . Look at it from the historical perspective . You're talking about a country which fought 400 year total wars . Also about the peacekeepers part . The russian peacekeepers had been attacking georgians since 2004 . Within crimea a majority of people supported annexation . An incurgency won't work there .
2
@mysticmarshmallow7581 still a lot Russians died even the second time
2
@shashankkolhe4111 the comment about the Afghans isa total nonsequetor
2
In the ussr people were at eachothers throats . The thing that changed is that there was no longer an army to control stuff
2
B D no
1
@TheBorg01 how many Ukrainians did Russia kill ? How many Circassians and chechns did Russia exterminate ? How many Tatars did Russia exterminate ? How many Estonians did Russia kill?
1
Russia voided the agreement by trying to join nato
1
Firstly they couldn't Secondly they'd get pushed back
1
Crimean people don't matter when talking about 3 different treaties that Russia violated
1
@user-ADystop treaties matter more than people
1
@user-ADystop no treaties matter more . Democracy could mean me and 2 other people could vote to beat you up and we would be the majority . Treaties are more important than people .
1
Ussr was bigger if count the puppet states
1
Ukrainian sea borders
1
@Pan-European Slavic Novorossiyan Ultranationalist we aren't talking about the ana we are talking about nato
1
@gabenewell3955 PPP is only good for day to day expenses . Anything big and you have to use nominal .
1
No
1
@MrParcho general plan ost was a plan to literally enslave and exterminate eastern Europe including the Baltics. The aoviets were no heros but the Nazis were maniacs
1
@MrTech-jg6wt Russia literally did the same thing to them . Not to mention when was the last time the French invaded Moldova or Estonia or Ukraine ? All these states have nato ambitions
1
@MrTech-jg6wt they invaded the russian empire not Moldova it self . As a political entity when was the last time they got invaded by France or the the UK bit not under the empire In the same way Russia invaded India when foughrt the British
1
@MrTech-jg6wt Huh? That statistic is only because you're including multiple nations . Some of them you can't reach but they can reach you so it's no a problem of agression rather of strength Also Nato is a defensive alliance . So what would be so awful if let's say Ukraine had been a member of nato or Moldova or Georgia ?
1
@АлексейСвинцов-д5й still the second one took 7k solders out from an invading force of 80k that's heavy imagine that but 40 times worse
1
@skywillfindyou most would fight also about Ukraine by good strategy if you mean ceasefire violations then yes .
1
@Chikanuk not to mention georgia actively undermines russian interests in the Caucasus . For example not allowing russian troops into Armenia . Denying airspace . Supporting North Caucasusian separatism . Although these actions don't do much against a giant like Russia they still show that people are against it
1
So that why they bombed neutrual countries . Like Georgia in 1993 or modova in 1992 ?
1
@JohnSmith-oc2dr not really tho . Russian army still has major problems. You saw that with their doctrines being out of line in the karabakh war . Or their air defence systems being overwhelmed in Syria and lybia . Although post 2008 Russia started reforms their army still needs a lot of work . The russian army at its current state has a moderate experienced and we'll equipped core which it uses against smaller nations . A large part of their army needs way more funding
1
If Russia wants eastern Europe to leave nato and the west then it should first leave Crimea abkhazia so donbass and transnistria
1
Probably or there would be a power struggle within the country
1
Turkey is in nato so it Bulgaria and Romania . Ukrainie and Georgia are also pro nato countries
1
@chepushila1 when was the last time nato had a war with Russia ? Also about the Swedes you guys were the first to attack them
