  2. In most of the developed countries the governments provide cash to support people who have no income from work or business. In addition to the regular welfare payments there are also grants to compensate for natural disasters, high cost of living, such as electricity prices etc. During covid lockdowns in many countries people were paid fixed amounts or proportion of their lost salaries or wages, in the many thousands of dollars in total. That effectively printing of money has contributed to high inflation afterwards.

  3.  @Rus-r7s  As an American, you should be able to read many books on the Soviet / Russian history written in English. From those you migh discover, that the Great Terror (also the title of a book by Robert Conquest) resulting in the deaths of millions, and not just in that part of the world, has had little to do with ethnicity but a lot with murderous ideology, and its reincarnations, which hasn't seen its day at a Nuremberg like trial, yet.
