@Rus-r7s As an American, you should be able to read many books on the Soviet / Russian history written in English. From those you migh discover, that the Great Terror (also the title of a book by Robert Conquest) resulting in the deaths of millions, and not just in that part of the world, has had little to do with ethnicity but a lot with murderous ideology, and its reincarnations, which hasn't seen its day at a Nuremberg like trial, yet.
