  2.  @YaYa-ke1zr  The Duke of Windsor was hardly exiled, as he returned to the UK proper several times and served as a representative of His Majesty as Governor of the Bahamas. Edward was a royal duke, thus he could neither stand for election to the British House of Commons nor speak on political subjects in the House of Lords.
