  1. Sitting on my bookshelf is my original 128k Macintosh I purchased with my then roommate Michael Martin from Macy's on Market Street in San Francisco back in March of 1984. It still runs and I have the original MacOS 1.0 System disk (most used v1.1). What the hose didn't mention was the case had the signatures of the original Mac team, including that of Jobs, molded into the plastic. Mike and used it for years, upgrading to a MacSE when it came out. I have so many happy memories of all we did with that little computer. It was a joy. Mike passed away in late 1987, not long after we acquired the SE, so I always picture us working on the original.
