  1. Question: If, to repair a flat spot, they grind the wheel down to smooth it out, doesn't that make the wheel smaller? That is, the diameter of the wheel would be less? Given they are on fixed axels that are set at a fixed height, wouldn't the smaller wheel ride above the track?
