  1. You have read this wrong mate. You see. The fires are still burning. People and animals are dying. Homes and lifestyles are being charred to ash. It is disrespectful to politicise an emergency during the emergency management of an ongoing emergency. Many people involved in an emergency take this response to the emergency to give the effort the resp ct it deserves alone. It is a stance that 100% focus is on the current emergency effort. Debate is for after the emergency. Yes. Human induced climate change is obviously real. I agree. All the hysteria is because evidence suggests we are tracking for a 1.5C temp rise by 2100 unless we cut CO2 by 45% by the year 2030. And we have accelerated the CO2 levels beyond normal cycles. True. But. The bushfires were mostly caused by environmental lobbying which caused great reductions in winter bushfire management programs. The burnbacks have been reduced. The bushfire experts warned the authorities this would happen. It happened. This was the first winter that fire trails behind my home weren’t frequented by RFS and this was the first year I was evacuated under threat and a fire needed to be thought closer than ever before by a margin. Now scale that out all over Australia and calculate our available resources and you get a lot of out of control bushfires. The control is supposed to be a year round effort. Not just expecting our poor RFS to be mop up crew in what will continue to be impossible damage control missions at the last moment with the reductions in control measures in place. Australia MUST burn. But we have to deal with how it burns.

  2. In all honesty. Koalas are shit. Do you know they have the smallest and least powerful brain pound for pound of any mammal? Do you know that they can only digest leaves that give almost zero nutrients and are toxic to every other digestive tract. No other animals bothered eating it. Do you know that 80% of their population has chlamydia and they just piss all over themselves a lot. Have you ever heard Koalas? When they grunt they sound like a retarded pig and when they cry and shriek you have a sudden urge to punt them in the head. I’m sorry. I don’t suggest anyone take any actions against koalas but there is definitely no reason to love this lazy, sleepy, do nothing mutant teddy bear. Koalas have been living off the fluffy thing for years. It’s not cute anymore! And I do think it’s terrible that so many koalas perished in the fires but it’s because they were the animals that only ate eucalyptus and couldn’t be stuffed to get off their backside and get away from it. Or maybe their tiny brain thought ‘Oh I wonder what that big smoky thing approaching wants.........Hello friend!.....eerrrrgh!’ I’m just saying. The kangaroos. The Flying fox’s. They got out of there bro. Koalas need to start taking responsibility for their own safety. Taronga Zoo can’t take care of everything for them.
