Seeing transphobes "boycotting" something by buying and then destroying the product is about the level of intelligence I'm expecting from those people.

The mere fact that there are enough movies to make such a list says much about the state filmmaking is in...

If you read the books, it's highly debatable if making horcruxes - that many, at least - really was such a smart decision by Voldemort...
29
For heaven's sake, Boromir is NOT a villain. When will they ever learn?
18
Smartphones? Google? You know Harry went to Hogwarts in the 90s, right?

Those misleading titles give me a headache. How can a sequel "forget" about a character when they mention the character passed away, for example? "Characters that sequels forgot" would mean in my opinion that they are not mentionned at all. Then again, english is not my maternal language - maybe there is a second meaning of "forget" that I'm oblivious to...

@ Valid question: Why can't they just live their lives instead of publicly hating and insulting people who just want to live their life their way?

What's more, there were many goalkeeping mistakes (and mistakes from other football players) at least as bad as this. Karius wouldn't be on this list if it had not happened just recently.

@dhenderson "Those people" - the people I was talking about earlier, hence transphobes. By the way, hatemongers moaning about not being treated with respect are absolutely ridiculous.
7
Hatshepsut deserves more than a honorable mention.
7
Or real life emergencies that sometimes just are more important than the game.

It would have been nice to have the 1971 European Cup football match between Mönchengladbach and Internazionale included, where a 7-1 win was taken away from the former team because of a can thrown at an Internazionale player.

The best thing is not to listen to or read reviews altogether before watching a movie. It influences your opinion of the movie, I assure you. I'm doing so, and it's astounding how often my opinion doesn't match with the critics' or audiences review.

Some other movie songs (they might not all be theme songs) that are important to me: Conquest of Paradise (1492: Conquest of Paradise) Barking at the Moon (Bolt) Reality (La Boum) Lucy (The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian) Remember Me (Coco) Once in every lifetime (Eragon) Don't cry for me Argentina (Evita) I sing the Body Electric (Fame) The Leaving Shanty (Fisherman's Friends) So long and thanks for all the fish (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) I want to spend my lifetime loving you (The Mask of Zorro) The Mystic's Dream (The Mists of Avalon) Ca plane pour moi (Ruby Sparks) Remember Me (Troy)

Readig the comments, I'd say: This video should be on a Top-10-List of Videos that triggered whining Social Injustice Warriors...
4
And people keep saying: "We have to look forward and not back."
3
Wow. They did a "just kidding" Number 1 and they weren't even completely off with it, as there actually was a stout guy who tried to establish a democracy...
3
@charlienorton2337 A man ripping a woman's clothes apart on stage, revealing her breast, and the woman taking all the blame. No, can't see anything sexist here...
3
I find it disturbing that there are several "Top 10/20 needlessly sexualized..." videos on WatchMojo but not one single "Top 10/20 needlessly brutal/violent..." video...
3
Ah, our beautiful world. Where a kiss between two women and making a song with a hidden reference to a president seemingly cause bigger controversy than shooting lots of stray dogs...
3
@gangbang4135 Yeah, this kind of joke was kinda funny the first three billion times it was used...

The wonderful ancient Greek culture included slavery, xenophobia, warmongering and worse misogyny than many people can imagine. Not as things that are present but widely frowned upon as today, but as crucial parts of the society. Yes, surely there were great things in ancient Greece, but don't forget about those massive disadvantages before calling them great and our modern culture awful.
2
Seriously, why the hell is this video age restricted? Because of the nudity in shown artworks? I will never understand how a naked human body, even if only painted, can be more frowned upon as explicite violence and blood pouring out...
2
Sadly you didn't go as far back as to include Molière in this list...
2
They are supposed to make the content they want to make, it's their channel. And if you are supposed to be the whataboutistic crybaby here, you're doing great.
2
No character in any game I ever played or watched as a Let's Play was even remotely as despicable as Detective Carter Blake from Heavy Rain.
2
Christianity has a copyright on people sitting at a large dining table apparently.
2
Why do you say that at a three year old video?
2
I think it's a bit cheap how it's always Lance Armstrong getting all the blame. Almost every famous cyclist of that time was involved in doping, and almost every one of them publicly denied it. In my opinion, if anything, it was the outburst of rage from Jan Ullrich towards everyone accusing him of cheating that brought it on a new level.

"Merde." (Rennes' last word, "Cube")
2
That constant whining of Trump supporters in the comments...
2
Appeasement politics. Towards Germany in the 1920s and 1930s, towards Russia since the 2000s
2
Why am I not surprised that the Hollywood audience hated the idea of someone deciding that a brutal battle where almost everyone dies should not happen and there should be peace instead?
2
Since the death of James Horner, John Williams is the uncontested number 1 of movie composers I know.

Almost every story has its hero - it's a bit difficult in LotR, but I consider Frodo to be the hero here. But many stories have also something I call a "clandestine hero". Someone who seems to be a supporting character, but if you look closer, he has his own story, conduces crucially to the success of his party and seems to be especially cared of by the author. I strongly consider Sam to be the "clandestine hero" in the Lord of the Rings.

With some entrys on this list, we could as well list Harry Potter here, who cast several unforgivable curses that are supposed to lead to a life-long prison sentence in Azkaban...
1
There is nothing that says more about Trump than "makes incest-like remarks about daughter" being number 18 on this list...

Let me fix the headline: "Top 10 Video Game Soundtracks You NEED to Stream NOW if you are into a certain kind of music. You love video game soundtracks because they are often so melodic that they resemble classic compositions? Well, screw you, we have nothing for you."
1
As despicable as the Reaper was, I despised Mr.Scratch even more.
1
Of course, Alex.

This video demonstrates the injustice of historical memories. The "glamour ladies" of egyptian history, Cleopatra and Nefertiti, are well remembered, while a strong and fascinating leader as Hatshepsut is almost forgotten...

Watchmojo, 2021: "At least with the '2020 was the worst' video, we won't have to do another video about how it didn't age well." Year 2022: "Hello, let me introduce myself..."
1
What if we stop dramatizing nudity altogether? It's basically a relict of harsh religious morals. It's the 21st century now, dang it.
1
How much Rommel really was involved in the military resistance also happens to remain an open question.
1
Well, you exclude movies that alter history on purpose for comic relief (Inglorious Basterds), but include movies that alter history on purpose for showing off (300)?
1
Underlaying a video about journalistic misbehaviour with RT material. Nice job.
1
Look, I'm very much aware that the opinions vary. But I just don't get how you can make a video called "Top 10 infamous historical executions" and not even give a honorable mention to Jan Hus. Instead you picked like four or five people executed in the last few decades in the US.
1
I'm missing Ma'at, the goddess of balance - a crucial concept to ancient Egyptians.

I would have loved to see Tsotsi on that list. The movie had two original endings. In both of them, the baby cried after Tsotsi brought it back and was apprehended by the police, he reached for the bottle of milk he had in his pocket, a policeman thought he reached for a gun and shot him. In the first ending, Tsotsi was killed on the spot; in the second, he was only injured and found the strength to escape. Then, in my opinion, they did the exactly right thing: They decided to scrap both endings and the entire milk bottle story and ended the movie when Tsotsi raised his arms and surrendered to the police, resulting in a strong and fitting ending.
1
And again, no Titan Quest on the list. WatchMojo keeps pretending that game doesn't exist.
