  1. It's not her fault, it's her American parents who didn't teach her about "race". There's no concept of "race" in Japan. And she doesn't want to be put into a box.

  3. I need to learn Japanese, so I can understand the shows, films, anime, and videos, I'm watching, and it enjoy, plus appreciate more, plus music too.

  5. I agree, when I lived in Brussels, Belgium, I didn't have ot think about it as much, or almost not at all.

  6. I also have to. But at least I speak French, English, Spanish, and Italian for now, until I re-learn Dutch, learn German, and other languages, plus Japanese.
