  1. I'd try a waterjet on that stuff. Or something that drives spikes into the clay. Maybe steam injection sealed up on injection point to expand from the rear, inject water and flash explode it for max expansion, about 1600x. it would have a very explosive effect and nobody should be close. I wonder if there is something that could get to it on a chemical level to degrade the stuff? It has to be about the hardest problem there is. Not so hard or impermeable, but so hard to deal with because it's tough and hold's together.
