  1. I see Chomsky as intellectually dishonest. A Sophist. He makes interesting arguments, but uses public acceptance or more academic acceptance of a paradigm as foundational basis, which skews his conclusions and ruins their voracity. His "Might Makes Wrong" paradigm is downright idiotic, but is loved by idiots who don't really put much thought into their thinking.

  2. Bubble people like Academics, media people, politicians, theoretical think tankers. People without a lot of experience making a life from the real world, start those who learn from them on a very weak foundation. That's why apprenticeship / interning, is far superior to trade school or College for that matter in teaching a practical application expanding on one dimensional knowledge. People who's made the physical happen are far better suited to understand the world, and if talented in teaching far better suited to create a good foundation of understanding.
