John Thursday I agree with a lot of that, except that you have a paradigm to do with capitalism exclusively it seems, when that dynamic applies to a much wider segment of society. Special interests, and government is one (because the governing are usually putting themselves first as well) influence what children are taught for their own reasons. Keeping the people dummed down fits in the agenda of many groups, and I agree capitalists can be one of them, but then again I doubt your vision of capitalists is as inclusive as mine. I don't see that as a majority republican or "right" group, actually the most wealthy interests in the world by far back what is seen as left and love big government because it's usually for sale. Those opposed to big government and the collusion between big business and government are the ones it usually hurts and who see it clearly are small business people. They tend to vote to the right.

John Thursday You can have corruption under any system ... and guess what? It's rampant under most systems. Republicans are seeing Obama pander to big buiz while crushing small buiz and the little guy and saying "hold on thar!" What is the alternative to capitalism? And what is your definition of it? The central banking system (federal reserve bank as it's deceptively named in the US) has been a boon for trade. Amazing facilitation of trade and it's brought on riches the world has never known, at least the average people. I would honestly rather live like an American Indian. The system we have and in most countries is a time bomb. There will be an ugly reckoning. The alternative is warring tribes fighting over turf and resources and killing people who competed with them if they could. That's rough, but having shitty people as politicians in power really pisses me off. It's more evil than honest competition as nature intended it. War, it's a sustainable system. Ours is not. (I'm not sure where you are so I added ("in the US") Students of private schools and home schooled children to much better than public schools. Charter Schools kick public school ass usually. Unions and government officials they pay off work to shut those schools down and often do and the alternative is a horror show. Obama specifically pushed the DC voucher program to be shut down that cost about 1/2 as much and got much better results. Sending them back to a dangerous hell whole where kids are beaten up for good grades and drugs and violence is all over. He fucked over many little kids who were going where his own children go, or went ... for the Teachers Union and their contributions. Talk about rank disgusting corruption at it's most vile! But did the networks or CNN bring it up? NOPE, they clammed down on it hard.

Used to be about even with the Swiss, took the low road, and Sweden is going down, on the way to becoming a shit hole. Democracy isn't a great thing. It's a nightmare for minority rights, not just talking color and the superficial differences that shouldn't matter, but minority interests get run over, and everyone is a minority in something. Republic with laws set up to protect individuals has worked great in the US. Actually the best system as far as results, in world history, despite the crap they teach in College lately. Of course we agree on corruption :) but you miss where it comes from. Central government being the farthest from the people and controlling the whole country is the worst potential for corruption. Stealing money from those who don't support you to buy support is extreme corruption and isn't good for a country. John Thursday What caused the Great depression? Well a cyclic down turn in the economy which was normal. Hang over from the roaring 20s where the US squandered a great boom with excesses. Huge ass drought created many problems, dust bowl n all the other shit from it. Isolationist trade policy, less spending because prices went up and people's disposable income came down. Bank Failures and Stock market crash. We would have recovered, but FDR put in programs that destroyed that possibility. The man was a piece of shit president. About like Bernie would like to be. Social Security is based on the new population being much larger than the old one, which can only sustain so long. It's a fucking stupid time bomb policy in the economy. Charity is good and it's huge in a country with free people and free market economy. If the central government administers it, it turns into a corrupt political football. Politicians thrive on problems. They gain issues and power in voting blocks. Such programs in the hands of the most corruptible power in the US is so fucking stupid it's unbelievable! It's like leaving all the food you have to survive outside in the open for all the bugs, bacteria and animals to ruin and take.

Fuel is damned important because that's how anything gets made or from point A to point B. Higher fuel costs increase the price of about EVERYTHING. The deal with Iran bringing oil prices down? I can't argue against that factually. Could be. Saudi is no fan of Iran and they brought prices way down and so did OPEC. It looks like a combination of support for Democrats by Muslim countries and working to put the oil industries in the US, Russia, Canada, Mexico, and other countries out of business. Obama did a lot to the end in the US while paying Brazil (Soros single highest investment) oil company Petrobras a couple billion $ to explore and drill where he prohibited US drillers to drill. They also got the BP oil and gas find worth over a TRILLION for FREE. Mexico was also paid to deep water explore in the Gulf of Mexico. No one supports Bernie and understands much about economics. You quote experts, probably the big Krugman... who is an idiot or a liar. Yeah he got a Nobel prize like Obama. Gruber who laughed about how the American people were so stupid they let themselves be fucked by Obamacare. Nobel or the influence Rankings dont mean dick anymore as far as quality. John Thursday When you talk about money's influence in politics I'm with you, but not how you think of it. What you're talking about is the democrats with the huge wealth holders and huge special interests like Unions backing them and Bernie types aren't talking about removing that money. The Democrats who basically control the media and have entertainment running like Goebbels had entertainment running in Germany in favor of the Nazis. Democrats have trillions of $ in practical advantage in media and entertainment as well as colleges, to spread their propaganda. What they are complaining about is how the other side gets any information out there. Power in government to pick winners and losers is a salable commodity, HUGE in demand commodity. People vote to allow government to give them a little more and take some from another guy, which is corruption. That corrupt power then can be used as government decides, and guess what? John Thursday No John, Norway uses it's natural resources and doesn't have much production. Why would you say they have good production? The success in their economy and why they don't need much production (oil drilling isn't production economy, or catching fish, it's farming and manufacture, service industry and the like). How the hell are we going to talk if you don't understand what production is and insist they have production when they use resources mainly? That kind of thing kills productive conversation. You can look up what constitutes Norway's economy. I did it, which is why I understand. Are you fudging to back your argument? Is that more important than understanding what really is going on? I don't need to spend time unless we're both genuine. Unemployment measures those in the work force. For example the US has lost millions and millions from the work force. Our unemployment number went down, but we have less people working. And they've played with the definition of full time.

John Thursday Capitalism is the system that rewards production. Production is highest when there is incentive, as in you keep most of the reward for the work done and gain gained. If you look at a system with a successful production economy, it's a capitalist system. Borrowing money to fake it doesn't count as a good system, you have to pay it back and you become Greece or so. They were riding high, now they're not. Compare Sweden to Switzerland. They had been very comparable, then Sweden took the dirt road down, implemented huge social programs and high taxation, and now they're not even close. Sweden is also undergoing societal decay, and that's even before all the refugees got there and started destroying and parasiting off what they had. They also have a good amount of oil, and other mining. Much more than Switzerland, but still that boost and they're still behind. You can look up GDP by country and GDP by ranking. Here is something I wrote on it a few days ago: The "settled science" conclusions on gullible warming were not arrived at using sound scientific method. The survey they quote is a joke, a bad manipulated survey. There is motive in the trillions for declaring the product of about any activity, including breathing or pooping (methane) a pollutant. Another motive is extreme regulatory controls which translates into trillions for those who control government, aka bribe, participate through "donation" and pushing causes, like GE which owned NBC and got billions in contracts for wind farms and tax credits. Psudo scientific scams like the hokey stick graph were discovered to be a scam. Emails were released between the scammers exposing the scam. The scammers were still rewarded in the millions by governments and media didn't out it, why is that? (this is just one example, there are many manipulations using government power for rewards and penalty depending on who does the line and shills for the "cause" and who doesn't recently including suggestion of incarceration for scientific decent) I'm sure you don't understand it went down like that, but it did. You didn't see that in the media. We don't really have a legitimate media any more. We have propaganda interests which have successfully been almost completely corrupted by wealthy interests who've also bought important components, of most governments. I give you the why first. The motive for the Global Warming Scam is important because I'm sure your paradigms on this is based on trust of scientists, government, media, even show buiz as that is also being used as a propaganda machine. Very effective because we don't have our guards up with entertainment. Goebbels understood this, which was probably much from receiving and using the book "Propaganda" from the Progressive Movement in the US. They were huge backers of the Nazi's. They also were requested Eugenics, Hitler actually asked and they gave. Propaganda contains science of how to manipulate masses. Was written by Freud's Nephew Edward Bernays. An influential progressive and super successful add man. PART 2 THE WHAT The problem with the science doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand. We are told it's too technical and we can't understand it, but that's a lie. Science itself is dependent on good method. Understanding the facts is a matter of learning some not so difficult physics and properties, and reactions. The science in the anthropological global warming assertion (I'd call it a theory, but it doesn't rise to that level) doesn't even need average intelligence to decipher as far as I can tell. I'm well above average so sometimes it's difficult for me to relate to the perspective, but it seems to be based on very simple principal. Global Warming is based on the phenomenon that CO2 will cause heat to be blocked from bouncing back out of the atmosphere thus heating up the gasses and retaining heat on the surface. That's true, it's a true and proven property. Other gases like methane do much the same. In fact many gasses in our air do the same. Funny, only the gasses that can be profitable (in terms of power which can be translated into wealth) are targeted. THAT is the first red flag. The cooling effect of CO2 is ignored. CO2 levels increased increase flora levels which act to cool the air through massive amounts of respiration. You can feel this effect if you go from a city to a forested or agricultural area. Plants take in CO2, sunlight, and water and convert it into energy. In the process a cooling effect occurs. This is also a proven fact, but it is IGNORED in the "Science" so to speak. There is also a Huge problem for the "Science" that the levels humans are responsible for in CO2 and Methane are minuscule. The earth's natural emission of CO2 is huge compared to what humans put out. We like to think we are significant, but in ratio we are really not. Humans put out less than .001 of the calculated VARIABLE in earths output of CO2. It's like saying we change wind speed of a Hurricane by farting one way or the other. That is technically true, we do, but it's not significant. Human derived output of Methane gas is much the same. Termites output alone in Methane gas dwarfs all human effected output, and they are a small part of earths total output. BUTT! it's something that can be used to control industry, aka bank influence, power which translates to wealth. The "Science" was obviously created by reverse engineering to something that could create massive controls, to a pretext which is global warming or whatever they use to reflect the earths natural fluctuations at the time. Climate Change is constant, and has much to do with the activity of the Sun. I doubt they've figured a way to convince the mushrooms that we influence the sun, but if they could they would. The same kind of assholes probably used eclipses to profit from the impressionable masses. Prehistoric Al Gore lol. Back in the 70s, John Holdren (Our "Science Czar" in the US. An Obama creation) wrote extensively on how we were causing the onset of a global ice age. How ice would build up on the poles so high that it would eventually collapse and kill all life within 200 miles of any coast, by massive tidal waves! What was his cure? Hey, guess what? It was giving huge amounts of money to the government and huge levels of power. I know, I know, you've seen so much "evidence" on TV. Swimming polar bears and all that, which they've always done and their numbers have increased 500%. The reports of melting ice caps and glaciers. You know they were supposed to be gone by now right? Places on earth underwater? A home Al Gore bought on the beach in California which he predicted would be under water soon ... why would he do that? I wonder ... There have been more scams than the hockey stick graph WHICH THEY STILL TRY TO USE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS OUTED AS A TOTAL PREMEDITATED SCAM. The ice levels in the North Pole were cheated and busted by Google Earth Watchers. Levels in the South pole have actually grown. Funny the ships full of climate scientists trapped in ice that wasn't supposed to happen. There is much to this scam. Volumes could be written, and have been, but they are basically censored as a kind of blasphemy. Papers written were dismissed. The "peer review" process corrupted. What you see that's so convincing is a production. Facts are suppressed and people who attempt to put them out defamed, threatened, and harmed. They are ostracized from the "scientific community" by government influence. That's where these guys get their money. That influence is and always has been a hell of a lot more powerful than integrity and a love of truth and science. Many have actually spoken out, and been hammered for it. Threatened with criminal charges and even physical harm to themselves and those they love. I understand you won't buy this, but what you should do is think about it and watch it more closely. Keynes actually came up with the Laffer curve before Laffer did, and before there was as much data. He was really good in Cambridge for much of his work. Laffer curve is the relationship between taxation and revenues. There is a level at which revenue peaks and if you tax more it drops like a stone and you get less revenue. With good incentive you get more revenue because of growth even though the % is lower. The pie itself is larger so the revenue is higher. I'm telling you that you've been taken in by propaganda about the economy. I can tell you how things work and why. Giving examples of human behavior you've probably observed. People don't work for little to no reward. The thinkers don't think. People won't put in the exceptional efforts of the sort that made the USA the top production economy in the world for so long. We're not rich because of slavery, that shit got a few rich, like Al Gores family, but it fucked the economy and left many people without good employment. There is a reason our US poor are wealthy by most standards in the world.

John Thursday I have no problem with amending the constitution the way it's provided for. A specified number of states agree, and it's changed. That's cool, but to just ignore it and have a DOJ so corrupt they don't do a thing? A supreme court where most of the Judges who swear to uphold are lying their asses off when they swear? That's not amending, that's CORRUPTION. When I say theft is corruption, yeah that's what I mean. Equitable taxation is the law. CEOs which didn't do all they could to get the most share of business they could were breaking the law by not looking out for share holders. The outcome was very predictable. Here is a little something I wrote on it a while back. Bill Clinton's last months as president included an economy in mid crash, that's the history. The Republican congressional majority that was elected stopped Bill from continuing his damaging over spending. There was a "train wreck" where rather than pull back on his insane spending Clinton allowed the government to shut down. Democrats ran dishonest adds and said Republicans wanted Grandma to eat cat food lol, and now Clinton is seen as the responsible one who cut back on debt?! HAHAHA ain't we stupid. Bill Clinton implemented the Clinton Gorelick wall that allowed 911 perps to go uncaught until it was too late. We were hit on 911 7 months into the Bush presidency after heavy obstruction from the Clinton White House to their getting things rolling for transition AND extreme obstruction by Democrats in the Senate for filling cabinet and other important posts. The full National Security Team from the Clinton Presidency was kept on, plus more was added, excellent people since maligned dishonestly in media. 911 happened, and the economy was already tanking and that sent it DOWN. The recovery was swift because GWB AND democrats in congress implemented steps that work. Lowering taxes which helped the economy and actually increased Revenue which it does every time as JFK put to practice and expounded on, and it of course worked when he did it. Democrats lie about this, saying GWB crashed the economy, and you have to be an ignorant not to understand that's a lie. The Banking crash is a direct result of permissive borrowing regs, the main push BY DEMOCRATS. Who was in charge of Fannie and Freddy, started into their corruption by Bill Clinton Appointees? CEOs appointed ... A who's who of Democrat deep trusted organized crime operatives like Franklin Rains (who perpetrated a 96 MILLION $ fraud and kept it though it was found out), Gorelick (of the Clinton Gorelick Wall) and Daily of the Chicago Organized crime / Mayor Daily's) and many more corrupt characters, all democrats. Republicans were not perfect, they rode the wave of democrat induced false prosperity (all the way back to Carter and his Community reinvestment act forcing banks to make bad loans) to gain politically from it, but the driving cause was majorly democrat officials moves. They base rhetoric on a foundation of bullshit and it gives me a headache to see 3 people standing on a pile of bullshit and arguing the nuances as if they're not on a pile of bullshit. I do like to see enough to observe the bias between how they treat Democrats and how they Treat Republicans. Very telling. I don't find the R debates that much more interesting. I could think up hours worth of much better questions for either side. Our media is dog shit. I understand no time. What would be really cool is if you looked into the facts in stead of quoting someone though. Come up with your own conclusions based on observing real cause and effect. Not what someone said or the fact you want free shit lol. It's pretty basic to understand wealth is based on production and gov at it's best facilitates production. It doesn't produce. Government has shitty motivation to produce, and the people in such a system who get no more for harder work so they don't produce for shit ... so when Governments are in charge of it, production goes to shit. People have less, the poor are much poorer than our poor and most people end up being the poor. The few freebies are never worth the result because it degrades the system we all stand on and the economy shrinks so there is less, meaning less for all.
