Dangerous ideology, regular people, but many of them have been turned into monsters and it would be almost like a cure for rabies to pull them back because of the extreme conditioning from such an early age. With Zealots caught up in a Paradigm that is supported by those around them, it's hard to change. Facts don't matter because the paradigm IS their facts. Facts conflicting bring on serious frustration and childish behavior, losing ones shit often. It's how people work. With Religious people, and with people who are caught in indoctrination, usually with the support of group think, on about any subject. Full disclosure, people on the left usually consider me right wing. Though hard line right wingers consider me left wing. I'm not much of a joiner. I'm for what's good for people. I don't have ulterior motives, even greed. I'll go with what's best for all the people and that can feed my greed sufficiently. I don't need to steal of have unfair advantage. What I have in my mind is enough competitive edge for me if I work, and I don't mind working for what I want. I don't really want much materially. What I'd gain from wealth is protection from assholes, but alliances with good people can accomplish that. I like being armed, so I can protect others, and myself. I'd like it if everyone were armed and responsible for their own safety and that of those around them. It would be much better than a police force, which can be corrupt. Especially if they're the only armed people. There ya go, lol.  OH, how do we deal with regressives? I think I addressed that above. Their mirror image is the fanatically religious. Same mental dynamic. I push them in argument. Put things in their face. It's very hard not to look stupid when pushing an unreasoned position. A little bit of humiliation is pretty useful as medicine, though usually you won't see it work. It takes time. I often argue with extremes of either "side"
