  12. I'm not on Andrew's level but I had major issues with every stay at IHG / Crowne Plaza hotels to get my points - in the end, it just wasn't worth the hassle and stay in small boutique places which are far nice and less corporate.

  15. I think the end of WW1. Great Britian was severely economically wounded by the war and only went downhill from there. WW2 and later the Suez Crisis in 1956, was the final nail in the coffin.

  16.  @WatchmansArchive  doesn't affect me, I don't intend to evangelise to anyone about anything. We very much enjoyed all our visits to Malaysia and particularly Penang. To be honest, I couldn't fault the place. Peaceful, friendly, low crime, English speaking mostly and really excellent food.

  29.  @iamgreat1234  57,000 MM2H holders in the last 20 years - out of 32,000,000 population - less than 0.2% in total - wealthy foreigners who buy goods and services - cars, real estate, children's education, medical services, cooks, maids, gardeners, taxi services, restaurants, coffee shops, travel services, groceries, furniture the list goes on... I'm proud to know many Malaysians and think all are wonderful people - it is a pity this policy will be law soon.

How to manage a new team? How to manage your first project? How to present a business to investors? That all motivates me.

  37.  @anarki777  I live in the UK and we will be living this year to travel and settle elsewhere. I say...Stay as a tourist in the UK - fine but don't live fulltime. The weather is usually grey, grim and damp. Most people are not the cheery sunny side up type of people. I also suspect the incoming economic nightmares will bring in the 1970s horror once again only grimmer. Go somewhere sunny and a higher standard of living!

  42. Extremely quiet in the UK. London streets like a disaster movie. Good time to film a disaster movie! All preparations completed at the end of January - thank goodness I have tea! We British can survive ANYTHING as long as we have tea!! Unfortunately, our trip to Belgrade and Novi Sad has been stopped - my thoughts are with the Serbian peoples. My business world goes on, a good time for multi-format, digital publishing!
