  7. interestingly enough actual socialists don't believe in taxes and in fact taxes only exist in a capitalist economy to fund public services to the people. But in socialism everyone socially owns these goods so by definition taxes would be made irrelevant.

  14. People (and Jordan Peterson) seems to be under the impression that Marx fought for equality of outcome. He didn't even believe in the conclusion of that. He believed that the concept of equal outcomes and equal opportunity were useless and were created by the bourgeoisie to divide people on ideology even further. He didn't advocate that everyone should receive the same but that we should all have equal access to resources. "Each according to their ability, to each according to their need" was the idea that each persons contribution to society was everyone striving to be the best they could in the task they took part in. And he believed that the resources necessary to you while attempting to achieve the "best" version of their ability should be freely available. He believed that "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need" did not imply strict equality of things, but that it meant that people required "different things in different proportions in order to flourish". That's what he believed. He didn't view equal outcome the way Jordan does. That is really the only thing i disagree with him on aside from religion. Otherwise, i appreciate and agree with what he says. I support socially enforced monogamy too, that isnt to say it should be illegal.

There are too many and they become obscure and hard to follow, the criteria for being in the genre becomes smaller and smaller. It tries to be more inclusive but it ends up causing more division and arguments over things; often unnecessary things. It leaves out and excludes everything and everyone that doesn't fit this large group of criteria. I'm a socialist, but the need to have all these added titles and the emphasis on excluding people by fighting as a black socialist group made up of lesbians is antithetical to socialism. Class war, not race or gender war.

  42. If America is suffering from a mental health crisis then why allow such a mentally ill society such easy access to death tools? I don't understand it. Mind you, I support gun ownership. I am a pro self defense, second amendment supporter. But that doesn't mean we should not have regulations. We don't have the right to own M-16s or AK-47s yet no one complains. Why not recognize that universal gun standards and training programs should be required for every gun you purchase. Not to mention ammo should be limited.

To deport or decide whether an undocumented individual should be qualified to stay. I focus on the economy, illegal immigrants are a distraction to the economy. Those people in the video were climbing over the wall, that's definitely illegal and should be a felony. I want universal healthcare, a universal basic income and affordable college. Illegal immigrants are going to our colleges... NO NO NO, bullshit. That's bullshit and should not be happening. They should not be allowed to purchase land or properties either, rent is fine. I dont want them to be on the street. But i dont want anyone to be on the street. I want more low income and public housing. We cant have those things with loose immigration laws. I fight for workers, the disabled, children, the lower class and eqaul access to resources for all citizens. That means undocumented residents need to fuck off. And we dont need anymore coming in. They hurt our economy and the immigrants who came here legally. Lets also make legal immigration process simpler and easier. Lets make it so illegal immigration comes with no benefits, and that legal immigration would come with benefits. If being an illegal immigrant was so hard, they wouldn't be entering illegally so much.

And why should my tax dollars go to undocumented immigrants? Justify that to me please. Because you can't and it's bullshit. And how do you know they came here as children with their parents? Unaccompanied minors enter the country all the time... Why should they get healthcare payed with taxes when my mother (who is a citizen that was born) here and has worked for 30+ years not have it because she won't get accepted for SSI even though she is disabled... universal healthcare goes to citizens only. Not entitled illegals who chose to come here illegally. I have ZERO sympathy for illegal immigrants.
