Europeans are worried about their demographic decline. But their governments are the reason for their worries. As it's the government who is responsible for it.
61
The EU has consistently proven its legitimacy is no longer valid. It acts more like a government itself rather than a coalition of governments agreeing to trade and travel rights.

There is little need for that many new homes if they would address their immigration problem. No immigrants, no housing shortage.
11
@reginaldcampos5762 the right to practice religion as you please is 1, only applicable to the indigenous citizens, and 2, an unreasonable ask. It's simply not possible for multiple religions to exist simultaneously. Ask the Irish.
6
Women in workplace is a major reason for this demographic drop in the first place. It's also a reason for rising housing costs.
5
You just proved you don't care about European identity and also know diddly about Islam.
5
As it turns out, women choosing to work instead of becoming mothers, costs being too high and a culture that shames men and family values tends to destroy society.
5
Wow. His "radical" policies included banning the hijab and closing mosques along with spending money on public transport... He's soooo radical...

These right wing guys are so odd nowadays.
2
She cut important new welfare programs for citizens and hasn't cut immigration. It's simple why she's not living up to anyone's standards.
2
Affordable childcare should be a stay at home mom while dad is earning a living. Moving away from this strategy is what caused this problem.
2
And yet none of them are that right wing.
2
Conservative social policies but economically left policies are the only way forward for western society. I've been saying this for years now.
2
@3iknet327 that's far right radicalism? Damn. Guess I'm a far right radical then. Even though I'm a socialist. Because everything you just said I agreed with, yet I'm blatantly not right wing.
2
They traditionally did. But recently alot of immigration has come from the middle east and Africa.
2
@maverick7291 i wish the left would also be strict on immigration. It's not uniquely right wing.
2
Macron is yet another modern western world dictator that doesn't care about his own nations ppl.
2
The immigrants are one of the main reasons for poverty and instability... Why do you think politicians and businessmen like them? Cheap labor that destabilizes the native working class.
2
Correct. And these sort of right wing governments are the only thing that can save us.
2
Then Italy won't be Italy anymore. This was their strategy. Tell Western women that abortion is great and careers are more important than family, then import a bunch of immigrants. It's been the plan for awhile.
2
You had me in the first half then you lost me
2
@BasicallyBaconSandvichIV those rights protect the ability of the Dutch to worship whomever they please or not worship at all. It doesn't apply to newcomers who already have their own religion. A religion which when in power, prevents the religious observance of other religions and forbids atheism entirely...
1
We need more European ppl on this planet. Less non European ppl, most of whom are responsible for overpopulation. It's not ppl of European origin responsible for unsustainable population growth.
1
What are you talking about?
1
"the law would allow France to say who we want and who we don't want"... Um, you mean like, the decision to say who is allowed to enter and not enter our home? Which every sovereign nation has the utmost authority to dictate? Yeah call me crazy but I also think nations should be able to choose who they let in. What a wild position to have in 2023.
1
Welp, goodbye France. You've voted for your own destruction. She was your only hope...
1
Why? They are what the Left should be.
1
It's pretty simple really. Women have jobs and education now, making them "too good" for wasting their lives on creating the next generation with a man who helps provide for that next generation. The other reason is the government wants cheaper foreign labor to replace their national population because they have no honor or loyalty to their people or their country. Only to global capital.
1
Social chauvinism? You mean welfare chauvinism? Because that's absolutely what every nation should prioritize: their own ppl over everyone else
1
What were the greens opinion on immigration? Cause I know the Christian Democrats kinda screwed themselves on that front.
1
Wow, it's almost like diversity and mass immigration is a plague on society or something... Of course, Sweden's lax definition of SA is also problematic.
1
The solutions are obvious. 1. Increase productivity in Poland, which creates well paying jobs and desired goods they can sell. 2. Lower housing costs. 3. Government assigned girlfriends.
1
1. The level of corruption in Austria it seems, is so pale and mundane in comparison to American politics that none of these people would be successful US politicians because they're level of corruption simply isn't corrupt enough to compete. Crazy. 2. It appears the thing I have been saying is true. A coalition between Left economic policy and conservative social policy is the way forward if we want the west to succeed. 3. There is not an "apparent" Muslim immigration problem. There is a clear and transparent Muslim immigration problem. Even the deaf and the blind can see it.
1
That's actually a decent idea.
1
Lets be clear, the pro family policies aren't bankrupting the country. The citizens not procreating are bankrupting the country. Individualistic, so called gender equality based cultural norms are the cause. Immigration does not solve anything it merely kicks the can down the road and it replaces the local population while doing so.
1
LIke in most places, a coalition between culturally conservatives and economic leftists would benefit the most people. Call it pro worker, pro family and pro people. Populist Workers/Labor Party.
1
You mean the native English ppl fought back after years of being hurt by the "colered ppl"?
1
Maybe the socialists are remembering that in order for any society to work, you have to have high trust and a sense of unity. Mass migration makes that impossible. Immigration, even of ppl from latin American nations, can only last so long.
1
Overpopulation is only occuring in the lowest of nations amongst the most backward of ppl...
1
But she hadn't lived up to that promise.
1
Probably never. Liberals care more about appearing humane than being practical.
1
End immigration into Europe. Especially by non Europeans. And make sure your own people are protected and supported by the Government. Don't raise the age of retiring, raise the taxes on businesses that employ immigrants.
1
You are the reason so many women refuse to have kids. Makes me sick. Healthcare should absolutely be provided to all citizens, let alone children, snd im surprised its not.
1
Being pro union, high taxation on the wealthy and pro government spending however definitely is.
1
@peachyjam9440 tell me how. This is a position I've never heard from anyone before and im curious how it makes left wing "reform" impossible and why think being pro union is a centrist position.
1
@peachyjam9440 i dnt understand the point you're making. You just listed a bunch of left wing economic policies and even listed left wing concerns such as brain drain, exploitation of cheap labor, the fear of privatization, lack of public healthcare spending etc. Are you telling me you don't think those are Left wing positions? Im Left Wing economically for the record. I champion these policies.
1
@peachyjam9440 what were the neo liberal policies you listed? Just state them the best way you can. YouTube also regularly takes down my comments. Even comments I post which aren't "controversial".
1
@peachyjam9440 oh. Yeah I saw that. But are you saying unions help those neo liberal policies?
1
@peachyjam9440 I was speaking of labor unions. Which I presumed were common in comparison to the US where union membership is low.
1
@peachyjam9440 YouTube sure does love preventing conversation.
