  8. @chrischreative2245  first of all, every citizen should be guaranteed a basic standard of living regardless of how productive they are. It's called inherent human worth. Second of all, we aren't subsidizing unproductive ppl we are ensuring that ppl can be productive. We are investing in them so they can invest in themselves, in their community, their country. You want ppl to be productive? Make sure they can afford their basic needs and then some.

That's ok. You have the right to be wrong. Also, your father was a tool who was unproductive subsidized by his parents until he became an adult. We subsidize the young, the old the disabled etc. How can ppl work for something, who are you to tell them what that something is, if their basic needs aren't guaranteed? Think dude.

His response to the Gaza, Israel situation was awful and a swarmy escape to evade giving an answer. I'd rather him just say, "I don't care what Israel does to defend itself, even it it's highly aggressive". The tension in the middle east is thousands of years old. As for what justifies actions made outside the law, I've already explained that. So I'm not sure how I can help you understand. When the law does not work for the ppl and the ppl knew they must enact change, they will enact change by whatever means is necessary even if the law disapproves. The governed aka the ppl are obligated to follow the law only if the law and the sovereign who enforces it, holds up its end of the bargain, which is to keep its members safe and happy.

His administration federally mandated that the various states building their own walls to prevent illegal crossings take them down. States that have been tougher on illegal immigration have been cracked down on by the Biden administration, including having funding taken away.

The reason ppl can't invest in themselves and in each other is because they are dependent on already rich ppl to invest in their idea, guaranteeing their continued wealth due to their expectation of a return on said investment. Plenty of ppl have ideas, have ambitions but because they don't have access to the capital they're unable to produce anything of value. Most ppl literally can't afford to take those risks because they don't have the safety net to catch them if they do fail. You say go big or go home but for most people if they go big and they fail, there won't be a home waiting for them to go to.

As I always say, there should be at least 5 parties. 1: The economically Right but socially progressive, Libertarian party. 2: The economically Right but socially conservative, Republican party. 3: The economically liberal (moderate/centrist) and socially progressive Democratic party. 4: The economically Left but socially progressive, Progressive Workers party. 5: The economically Left but socially conservative, Populist Workers party. These are the parties we need to represent the people. The Democratic party would largely fade away with the Populist Workers party, a social democratic/market socialist leaning party that focuses on family values and enforced border security becoming one of the more popular along with the Progressive party.
