I had to unsub from The Humanist Report, he made another video I just couldn't agree with which in this case involved him calling that boogaloo fool a fascist and a libertarian in the span of two sentences. He made a decent point though, that libertarian right wingers won't sign on to Medicare for All. But still, he seemed to disagree with your decision to communicate with him and not outright humiliate him. I just can't listen to him anymore. He has had two many bad takes in the last few months.

God is not on your side. He's on ours. He wants his ppl to defend themselves from evil.

Ive never been a fan of this. I remember the first time someone did that to me, I didn't realize it was a regular thing, I turned around like a tornado and punched the guy right in the face. Stop touching peoples butts who are not your intimate companion. Edit. But this is her dad. It's a bit different.
3
Wait, what is this about Nina Turner and Bloomberg? I've never heard of this.
3
That's my understanding as well. Tariffs work only if the country levying them has competitive market power. But they don't work well when that country levying them has lost or hasn't yet built their own self sufficient productive economy.
2
Because there isn't a difference.

Patrick is a terrible person and an even more terrible political thinker.
2
1. No he isn't. 2. So children should be damned to poverty because of their parents? 3. You have more than just your family to worry about because you live in a society.
2
@miriamweller812 or... you could be for equality within your own country among your own ppl but not care what every other ppl or nation to for themselves.
2
The Republicans should take on more distributist and paternalistic policies, ditching neo liberal Reagan era economics.
2
It's already happening.
2
Those ppl should not become homeless but rehabilitated and moved into a home once clean.
2
@TheDeepShallow those laws then too need to be changed.
2
@dannyaglugub1643 no, it actually isn't. At all. Not even remotely. It's superficial, softball thinking loosely dressed up as class. It's not.
2
Sadly Jimmy isn't there.
2
@l.w.paradis2108 good question. Probably a much higher percentage than the homeless are. But the elites can afford their addiction and their rehabilitation so that makes it ok I guess.
2
Steve Bannon called Obama the "most progressive president in history"... That's why you can't listen to this man. He recognizes the issues but has zero solutions to the problems. He despises the solutions to these problems because they would be considered too "communist" for his liking.
2
MLK was assassinated not because of his racial views but his economic views. Had he remained a public figure in the decades following the 60s, this would have been a much different nation with much different policies.
2
There was a Russian lady who is in jail now who became a member of the NRA.
2
50 years ago this was being warned about by all the unions in America.
2
Jimmy is far more right about healthcare than most are. Healthcare should be guaranteed to all Americans. No medical debt, no private pharmaceutical companies.
2
American culture is decadent and debaucherous but it has declined because of the wealthy owner class who passes off liberal culture to the West while letting immigrants keep their traditional culture. Indian culture is worse than our own in many ways but happen to still believe in gender roles and traditional family units. But that's a low bar to match. Which is why western culture is so low. The root of any successful culture is family values.
2
Why not just house them? They are going to be sheltered and fed no matter what anyway. Whether in a detention facility/jail, a rehabilitation center, a psychiatric hospital, temporary shelters etc. so why not save money and just assist ppl who are struggling with their rent/mortgage? Why not just simply house ppl?
2
Private communism= socialism for the rich, rugged capitalism for the poor.
2
Could this be a reason that crime is so high in Chicago?
2
We didnt have crack cocaine or meth until recently...they are new drugs.
2
So do the terms "multiculturalism" and "diversity".
2
Deja Vu eh?
2
We aren't obligated to let them into the US to improve their lives... We are obligated to do that for Americans.
2
@auh786 fundamentally oppose this mindset. You have rights and with those rights are responsibilities, some may call that an obligation. Everyone's obligated to pay taxes. Those taxes should go towards benefiting the American ppl.
2
The word you're looking for is n- vasion.
2
Group decision making and the common good has always been done. It was the norm for millions of years of our evolution. Hence why we are a social species.
2
My mom and I have been homeless for nearly 4 years. We live in her car. We are both disabled and working is not really an option for us. The heat of the summer (in SC) is god awful and unbearable. Im so sick of being ignored while other people like rich owners of industry and illegal immigrants get all the attention and the promises. I'm sick of it. My mom is crying, I'm completely out of hope and we have no where to go and nothing to do. I hate this country. Why? Because this country hates me.
2
Sir, you're a legend.
2
@safeandeffectivelol he should return to Iran and run his podcast there. Change things there.
2
He'll be sad to see how many dumb ppl are in his comment section.
2
Im car homeless. But I don't live in California.
2
Um. No. They should be immediately arrested and/or deported.
2
No, the people in the government are the problem. It's supposed to be for the people,by the people. But right now it's for the profits by the profits. Capitalism cares not for anything or anyone. At least the government has to be held accountable.
2
Ah yes, private companies dictating your life by controlling your personal property is socialism. Right. Try again dude.
2
Because like the Ted Talk later said, we create a deficit but we don't spend that money on our people and their well being.
2
Cronyism is Capitalism when Capitalism inevitably is used to destroy society. In reality, it's the same thing with a different name
2
There's never any trans men of the year. You know, women that identify as men? Where is their representation? Unforgivable.
2
@dereksbooks nato is Largely responsible for its dissolution...
2
Nationalizing these services absolutely would help. It would no longer belong to private interest.
2
AOC and her ilks views often incite me to anger. Can we deplatform her and Progressives for their views? It's inciting me to anger when she values foreign invaders over American citizens. It incites me when she says white men are privileged. It incites me when she says men and women are social constructs.
2
Illegals are never homeless. That's the problem. They somehow buy homes and get jobs all without legal documents. This lowers the value of labor, increases the cost of housing and limits the available jobs and homes available for citizens. Illegals get everything in this country and homeless Americans get nothing. It pisses me off to no end.
2
Who stood up and challenged a system everyone wish they could do the same, yes.
2
Wmen entering the workforce and going to college is one of the core reasons for all this mess. I know that's "misogynistic" but its entirely true. Immigration is another problem for why wages are low and trades are seen as undesirable.
2
You went to Londonstan. London hasn't existed since the 80s.
