Im a socialist. We should all be socialist. You talk all about camaraderie, well what do socialists refer to one another as? Comrades. Where do you think that comes from? Want male solidarity? Can't do that if our labor is not controlled by the workers and if those workers view one another as competition rather than collaborators. Unions were indispensable to the creation of the middle class and often, to successful marriages. Many men met their wives through their union colleagues.
Socialism values fraternity, community and individual contribution. Literally their entire philosophy is "from each according to his contribution, to each according to his need". Sure, alot of socialists nowadays are more focused on cultural elititism. But socialism itself is dominantly about power structures and material conditions. Capitalism alienates people from their work, from their fellow man and from themselves. Capitalism killed the family. Capitalism destroyed our communities. Capitalism turned everything on it's head. Socialism, or at the very least, socialist esque policies, staved off the negative aspects of rampant free market liberal ideals. If you value the ability for men to take control over their life, they need to have control over their labor. That means being a socialist.
Oh and if you genuinely believe a poor person in America has it better than a king or queen 150 years ago or whenever, you're too far gone and your mind is made of mush.

I agree. Phuck America. This country is crime infested, degenerate supporting, labor hating empire that sends billions of dollars overseas while it refuses to implement a universal healthcare system. We destroyed workers unions, destroyed families, destroyed our economy and destroyed culture. Our jobs are shipped out of the country, immigrant labor is shipped in, men have no hope for a brighter future, wahmen are ruining every aspect of society from relationships to education and our government has consistently bought out corporations that damage the planet and then demand we do something about our "carbon footprint". We give endless money to grifters like Elon Musk who want us all to buy his shitty electric cars that aren't as efficient, don't last as long, weighs twice the weight of a gas powered vehicles and uses dangerous minerals/metals that are extracted using slave labor in Africa...
Inflation is through the roof, crime is everywhere, we lack supplies and production is purposely being cut by greedy businesses who want to artificially control consumer demand. Our schools are the joke of the entire western world, our healthcare system is used as an example by others of what NOT to do, our child mortality rate and our life expectancy is abysmal when in comparison to other developed nations and are infrastructure has been rated as a D by the global architect society for over 25 years. Not to mention we have essentially zero public transportation infrastructure.
Name one good thing about America at this point? We don't have freedom of speech anymore. So what do we have that makes us so exceptional?
