  3. It's true Americans are getting dumber. However, literally not a single reason you gave has anything to do with it. Seriously? Americans don't typically have passports and typically only watch American films, which you pointed out often take place in foreign countries... Which, sort of negates your argument. Also, Jason Bourne? Really? The man with a thousand passports to various countries is the example you give? Ironic is it not? These are the reasons Americans are supposedly dumber? Really? In truth, Americans are getting dumber because what we choose to teach our children has nothing to do with life and how to be self sufficient. We teach nonsense about social identity and social biases that supposedly aren't warranted, such as certain cultures and racial groups I can't mention (because freedom of speech doesn't include the right to tell the truth even if it's offensive apparently) commiting disproportionate amounts of crime and contributing to the continued destruction of social cohesion. I long for the days where only 4.7 of ppl born in America are actually American and not immigrants from lands not at all compatible with our sadly dying culture. I'd love to go back to the days where our culture actually valued virtues and disciplines long since deemed antiquated and bigoted. We are dumber in the US not because of our lack of worldliness, but rather because we have allowed ourselves to degenerate in favor of worldliness. We've put so many people before ourselves, we have forgotten who should come first: us.
