  12. It's not the weakness of democracy. It's the weakness of Republicanism. Since we "aren't a Democracy, we're a Republic" as so many say. But that's exactly the issue. We aren't truly democratic and that's why the people never get their way and don't feel the government works for them.

  15. I want a legitimate welfare state and closed borders. Universal healthcare, universal basic income, job guarantees, guaranteed retirement pension. Those are great things we should prioritize. But we can't have open/lax borders if we have that.

  18. Repel and expell. No money for foreign countries. All the money for domestic issues. I want a strong social safety net that guarantees Americans basic standard of living. But you can't provide that with an open border.
