Its literally the other around. Austrian Economic theory believes price calculation is useless if not impossible and believes that individuals determine the ultimate subjective value of a good on the market. No matter where you are economically, whether Marxist, Keynesian, Monetarist or something else entirely, this is seen as preposterous and incapable of deciding any real economic theory. It's a theory that essentially doesn't believe in itself.

Thank you..

But it is the logical conclusion of capitalism.
2
Because it's not true? And much of what was 20th century "communism" was based on the most visible version aka the Soviet Union and therefore other models of socialism weren't as common.
2
@AganorsaLeaf Chile is a great example. Yugoslavia being another.
2
@AganorsaLeaf hmm, and why was the democratically elected Allende and his socialist government so suddenly undone? Oh right.
2
That's a good point.

Oh no! Kamala claimed she wants to raise the historically low corporate tax rate of 21% to 28%! Forget the fact that it was 35% under Obama and 31% under Bush. Forget that it was 52% for over nearly twenty years in the 50s and 60s when the economy was at its peak...
1
Humans have not historically traded things for other things. This is a very recent phenomenon.

All of those Turkish ppl in New York that Cenk mentioned were speaking in their own language about how great Turkey is and how its the biggest country... Yeah, they should have all been immediately deported. They should not have even have been allowed in.
1
But people do change because they are part of a bureaucracy... To suggest otherwise is nonsensical.
1
How about we don't pay them anything. We order them to leave and if they don't: make them.

Einstein did however, receive the bulk of his funding from the government. And you are objectively wrong about governments not innovating and changing the world. The phone you're using, the batteries in it, microchip, software development... All government.
1
IBM did not invent the microchip, touchscreen technology or phone batteries...
1
@_Cryptotruth_ The microchip was invented by Jack Kilby, Patrick Haggerty and Robert Noyce for the Navy missle systems. The touchscreen was invented by Eric Johnson for the British Government in the 50s and in the 80s and 90s modern touchscreen technology was invented by the CIA and NSF and NASA. A whole research team between organizations are responsible. GPS tracking? Department of Defense.
1
@_Cryptotruth_ well the truth is that I'm objectively correct and you're objectively wrong because you put faith in the free market, for profit system that is routinely needed to be corrected by government and which neglects various advances because it wouldn't be profitable. Not to mention the inherent waste is creates. Nothing you stated disproves my argument because the modern application, incentive and invention of touchscreens, microchips, GPS, batteries etc were all for government use. Touchscreens for instance were an accident and not meant to be for phones but rather for NASA computers. Many things the government initially made it took for granted and the private sector found other, unique and ultimately profitable uses for them, I'll give you that part at least. But the bulk of R&D in the US is government funded. Private companies merely buy patents (I wonder where those comes from 🤔) to sell commercially on the market after the government, through labs and research centers, did all the work. You can ignore these basic truths all you like. Im just telling you it's not wise to do so.
1
@_Cryptotruth_ no, I argued that you have faith that the profit motive, by people who employ and exploit labor, will result in the next outcome. Have I ever employed anyone? No. Why? Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I have ideas, desires and ambitions that I can't do anything about because I lack capital. There's no "honest profit" from "your labor" because 1. It isn't your labor that makes the profit and 2: There is nothing honest aka dignified about exclusively winning out because of your rent of other people's work you pay a wage to in order to make you money.

It is certainly true that there are tons of dumb whyt ppl. But unfortunately there are not tons of smart blaq ppl.

No Cenk, i dont care that such and such a number of Gazans have been unalived. I do however have a big problem with America helping fund it.

Rare Cenk W?

It literally decentralizes it by placing it in the hands of the community members at large.

How old was he when the USSR collapsed? 2?

@Stephen-vu2gk it's pseudoescientific. You can't hypothesize anything if you don't already have a good idea of what you're doing. AE is subjective, rejects mathematical principals and falls on failed understanding of human behavior to determine things. If you that is scientific then so be it. But you'd be hilariously wrong.

Socialists have absolutely been advocating for financial literacy and they have since the beginning.

If the nation was so great why did they leave it and go to New York to talk about how great their country is?

You should not be allowed to vote... Your ignorance on politics is frightening..
