  94. "You cant tell people where you can work, how you're going to work"... sounds like you're against Capitalism sir, since we are forced to pick certain careers or starve/suffer and when we get those jobs we have almost zero freedom in what we do. We listen to our bosses and if we step just one centimeter out of line we can get fired. You want free enterprise, make sure the people can invest in themselves and in each other instead of relying on the banks and large investors that take stock and ownership over that new enterprise. You want freedom? Make sure people have their basic needs met and have access to resources necessary for them to pursue their own future. And maybe you, Jaime Dimon, should read the history of socialism. It might help you understand that socialism is not "when the government does stuff der der der". The government does what the people wants, in theory, but big companies and fat cats like YOU buy the government so that what the people want wont happen. These powerful capitalist overlords are just that, overlords. They bash centralized socialism from the 20th century yet what is a monopoly? The Soviet Union was a monopoly, the people were the employees of the only real business in the country, the government. That's no different than capitalism today. That is capitalism's nature. It flows to a small group of people. The very system that pushes competition pushes constant growth and buyouts of smaller chains more. The very competition they espouse, is the process that allows competition to falter. Because eventually, 1 or a few people will have won from that competitive market and leave the rest on the bleachers and in the audience to watch as things continue on without them.

  264. Why would drug use lower if its legal and easily accessible? I never understood that. And the Portugal issue is very controversial and uncertain with their results. Weed and certain psychedelics should be legal, laws should go towards small business and cooperatives (like Krystal said), large businesses producing weed and selling it are actually causing bigger problems then when street dealers were because street dealers dont have the ability to put a bunch of chemicals in it. They don't have state of the art technology. Many pot uses were afraid of it being legal and merely wanted it decriminalized so big money didn't hurt their business or hurt their customers. I understand their point, though i still think weed should be legal across the board in every state to avoid state by state inconsistencies. As for harder drugs, those should most definitely remain illegal. I made a video about it on my YouTube channel in fact. If we legalize these harder substances more will have access and more will do it. It'll be essentially saying, "hey, try these for yourself now", they're legal. And look at cigarettes and vapes, alot of the population wants those banned or more strictly capped. Its for a reason. Cigarettes SHOULD be illegal. Alcohol shouldn't but look at how much is affects society. You wanna make that problem even worse by introducing other drugs into the picture?? Now way. There need to be rehab centers, sure. But many people dont wanna stop and dont feel they need to. They want to continue doing these substances, and can continue to since it would be legal. But it shouldnt be. And those losers who decide to throw their life away and do heroin or crack or whatever should go to jail, they are not productive members of society and pose a risk. They do more than harm themselves and the black market would still exist. Just like the black market with guns and alcohol still exists. So what? Hard drugs should remain illegal and the cartels will exist regardless. heres my video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CdYDqo_jvU&t=1091s

  352. Im a democratic socialist but I lean heavily on the side of Saagar here. What are these "myths" that Krystal is talking about?? They aren't myths...we spend roughly 18 billion in healthcare already for illegal immigrants. 2.5 billion in California alone. They receive housing, often from their relatives that paid them to come here. They have children which then are citizens because they were born here and receive benefits. This is not a myth. If you claim it is you're lying. And what about removing the cap on refugees??? Half or more of these people are not refugees! They claim asylum, move into the country, never appear in court and live the rest of their days in the US. These people need to go! You're not welcome here. Should we penalize businesses who hire illegal immigrants? Absolutely! And if they are caught 3 times doing it, revoke their business license and give the company to the workers! We cannot believe in a socialist economy and then allow hundreds of thousands to enter the community illegally and benefit from those resources. Not because there isn't enough to go around but because it's immoral. Its insulting. Do walls work? OF COURSE THEY DO!!! We've done it for centuries across civilizations... But I do support a wall? Not necessarily. I think it's a waste of time. But I still believe in strict border enforcement and immigration enforcement. If you've been here Les than 3 years, bye bye. More than that and haven't committed any crimes other than fraud, refusal to attend trial and unlawful residency, then you can receive permanent residence. But citizenship?? No way. Also, the longer you've been here illegally after becoming a permanent resident the larger the fine you would have to pay to make up for your stay.
