  2. "Isn't it just nostalgia"... Yes. But so what? Its nostalgic for a reason, because its better. The old community/village is the superior way of existing. Conservatives are right about that. What socialists get right is that these communities are only good with proper planning and investment along with genuine power belonging in the residents themselves.
