  1. The Founders aren't the only ones who would find it difficult to understand why women would forgo having children and a family. I don't get it either. Then at the same time, I do. Children prevent women from acting and engaging in behaviors like men. Women have been taught for about a century now that being feminine is oppressive. So really that's why they find child rearing to infringe on their "freedom". Because it's the epitome of womanhood, which is negatively viewed today.
