  2. The anti car brigade is a laughable group of utopians who think getting rid of the car solves most everything. In truth, we need public transport and better use of land space but without getting rid of cars. We should have the ability to choose whether we want to drive or take public transport. They should work in conjunction not in competition with one another. Cars are essential and have their perks. But they also have their downsides that can be repaired by some of the ideas presented in this and other videos.

  4. I'm sorry but no one wants to live in ugly, boring, pseudo Soviet bloc housing. Co-housing communities and neighborhoods similar to old folks hoods you find in Texas and Florida are a better choice. So are the mixed use street homes you mentioned. But stacking people on top of one another like a hotel should not be a priority. Maybe we can remodel old hotels for young single people and homeless people but anyone else? Nah. We need more than just residences. We need actually homes that feel like home where people can grow their own food and have their privacy.
