  1. Conservatives and Progressives both want jobs in America. On economic issues, neither group actually have that big a divide. More libertarian, classical liberal types who often vote for either parties but are more common in the GOP, do however like deregulation and low taxation... Conservatives need to desperately escape their commitment to free market capitalism. Its not their ally. Conservatives (i am one) please support workers rights. Please reject the ethos of consumerism and individualism where it's every man and woman for themselves. Embrace community and family policies such as free school lunches, national health insurance, housing affordability, a universal basic income, social security expansion, union membership etc.
